Dr. McNichols is a down to earth Doctor that smiles, speaks English clearly and is very personable. He explained everything including another condition I have that my PCP never explained thoroughly, including drawing a sketch to help with the explanation. Dr. McNichols has been employed at LAKE REGIONAL URGENT CARE off and on since 2008 . There has been a CHANGING OF THE GUARD at this location FOR THE BETTER and he has recently returned to LRUC.He is there on Tuesday and Wednesday

I used the Bay Area Urgent Care yesterday afternoon - Dr TJ McNichol is Fabulous. On site Covid testing. He also performs Covid testing for travel/cruise. He’s extremely thorough, explains what he’s thinking/doing and Does it onsite. He gave me peace of mind. I had confidence in what his approach would be after a complete explanation. He has X-ray capability on site. As well as draws blood for tests he feels are needed. It was so nice to not have to go around town to get the required tests For my visit today. He gets you in and out quickly with answers. You get a phone call the next day with your bloodwork results. I was so impressed with how everything was dealt with from the time I walked into his office. I was in and Out within an hour! Palm Harbor is very fortunate to have a Doctor of his Caliber here.

I saw him last week for what turned out to be pneumonia. Lab and X-Rays were done right then. His "down to earth" approach and personality were tops. I did not have to wait long at all. I have a gut feeling to trust his medical knowledge. His assistant was wonderful, too. The whole experience was amazing.

Met Dr. McNichol today. Wonderful experience start to finish. He and his nurse were very kind and thorough. What impressed me the most, however, was how Dr. McNichol handled a patient who was rude and vulgar to his nurse. The patient made me very uncomfortable just hearing him through the door so I cannot imagine how the poor nurse felt! Dr. McNichol handled him swiftly, confidently and calmly. Very impressive. How one treats their employee says a ton about that person...and I saw everything I needed to know today. Dr. McNichol will be my primary from this day forward!!! And his nurse is the sweetest thing ever!

Like most folks, I'm sure, I can count on one finger (or less) the pleasant, positive experiences I have had with doctors or hospitals. In every case, once the physical pain passes, the financial pain begins. Such was my state of mind upon the first visit to Bay Regional Urgent Care. Surprise! Since that first visit I have used the clinic two more times and I am happy to say that I now can count the number of positive experiences with doctors or hospitals on three fingers. Not just first-class professionals, Doctor McNichol and his assistant, Sierra, are also first-class humans. Not once in those three trips did I leave the clinic feeling like a mere dollar sign. It quickly became clear to me that Dr. McNichol and Sierra actually did care about me, and that finding answers to my questions were at the top of their list. I am not quite old enough to remember the days of "old country doctors" when patients were visited in their homes by kind, caring physicians who took their time
