Bertha Marcellino's Online Review Report Card

I have known Dr Marcellino for many years and I am completely satisfied with the services and sincerity she offers. The staff presently is professional & courteous. I recommend this doctor's office to everyone.

I don’t understand these negative reviews. Dr. Marcellino was a lovely woman who was very attentive to my situation and was very willing to try everything to treat me. Her staff was very kind, from the receptionist to the nurse, which seems to be her entire staff. This office is very small in what looks like a not so nice building. But i found it to be very clean, just dated. The nurse that did my bloodwork was gentle, precise and answered any questions i had. Oh and i called at 4pm the night before and got a 10am appointment the next day. When’s the last time you weren’t told to come in two weeks+ from now with an issue? So that was nice too. I did see a sign that states starting in January they will no longer be accepting insurance. So be aware. But that might be helpful for people that cant see a doctor without insurance. All I’m saying, is give her a chance. Im happy i went here.

This Doctor does not wanna take insurance patients.

This doctor Bertha is very rude. She doesn't like to listen to her patients and talks over you. She doesn't send documents on time to other specialist to do a procedure. I had to do the things that she had to do and I'm not even a doctor. Worse experience ever. Switched doctor as soon as possible.

Me trataron con muy mala gana y sin interés. No me habían atendido y ya estaban preguntando por dinero y la limpieza no era la mejor.

Anyway, I was called back and they had someone else's chart. I got weighed and it showed I lost 8 pounds. We went through my medical history. After asking about a medication for weight loss, she went on about how big Pharma is only about money. Then she said I need to not eat cookies. I am on meds for ADHD and depression that suppress my appetite and I have PCOS. I can barely eat. I am lucky if I eat a chicken salad sandwich for lunch. She ignored my weight loss. She asked me if I outgrew ADHD. She didn't know what NSAIDS were when I said I was allergic. She refused to prescribe any meds. The ONLY thing she did was order the labs I requested for PCOS. Her nurse did a EKG. I am nonbinary. I have severe dysphoria about my chest. They tried to make me strip my shirt and bra off for it and I almost was in tears. I am also autistic and they refused to turn down the lights when I wasnt allowed to wear my light filtering glasses. She said to me "you dont look autistic" and asked me if I knew the difference between autism and ADHD. When I asked her about migraine medications he told me she had other patients to see, like I didn't matter.

She also said if I need any meds, I need to go to urgent care to get them because "food is the best medicine."

Very unprofessional Dr. I have never been to a Dr. that acts in this manner. I wouldn't recommend her to my worst enemy. Her staff isn't she any better. I would like to know how she is still in practice.
