List of Cancer Center Of South Florida's Reviews
I came as a patient to this center because my white blood count was extremely low and my primary doctor was concerned. I also had low ferritin levels and vitamin D levels. Experienced extreme hair shedding, easy bruising, extreme fatigue to the point I couldn't get out of bed, prolonged episodes of dizziness and shaky vision. When I expressed this to the doctor and PA they said that these symptoms were odd and had no idea what was going on with me. The most frustrating point is that the main reason I went was to have my white blood cells monitored, after getting blood drawn I would ask them if my results indicated abnormal levels (specifically in my white blood cell count) and they would say no everything looks fine. Months later, after requesting for all my paperwork from all our past visits, I realized that they NEVER even tested my white blood cells!! I started to consult a family member who is a primary doctor, and him all my symptoms and after reading the same bloodwork; he was appalled as the symptoms I was having was a textbook iron deficiency. He even questioned why they hadn't immediately ordered an iron infusion as again this is routine for someone with the low levels and symptoms I was experiencing. They did not even recommend for me to take iron supplements. I'm happy to report that after supplementing I immediately felt an improvement and now after 5 months of supplementation I have brought the levels up to a decent level and some symptoms have completely stopped with some still persisting but less frequent then before. Unfortunately, by the time I sought proper guidance, my insurance would no longer cover an infusion because my levels had improved meaning supplementation was my only option, which is much slower progression to "recovery". Had the doctors at this center ordered an iron infusion to be done it would have saved me months of pain, time and money wasted going to their office. All that being said this was my experience in terms of an iron deficiency, goes without saying, I do not recommend this center of oncologist as they were unable to diagnose or treat a basic, well-understood condition, and that is unacceptable.. If I hadn’t taken matters into my own hands and sought help elsewhere, my deficiency would likely have progressed to full anemia!!
😕 poor communication
The staff is SO nice here and the nurses were great especially when I had a reaction to an iron infusion. Dr. Narendran answered all of my questions during my initial appointment with him, and I felt comfortable with his diagnosis and recommendations! Thank you!
They open at 8:30am.
These guys/Drs/nurses/office staff are fantastic.
While I do not visit many cancer centers, this one was kind, generous, and thoughtful while I was in the middle of my personal predicament. While no one is perfect, they were very good to me, and I am cancer free for three years now. They are convenient, courteous to the LGBT+ family and great all around knowledgeable people. Dr. Tsao knows his stuff.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
