This review is NOT about Dr. Lopez-Torrez, but rather the medical assistant who was to take my 3 year old’s vitals for her 3 year check up. This woman was not friendly or patient in dealing with a 3 year old. My daughter had never had her BP taken before and this lady gave her instructions “to sit still in the blue chair, and let her put the BP cuff on and sit there patiently waiting” none of which my toddler did for her as she is NOT an adult and should not be treated like one. She has ZERO rapport for a patient my daughter’s age; when we tried to help by placing our daughter in our lap to get at least any BP reading, (in my opinion anything is better than none), she said that that is not the way the procedure is done and bluntly refused. She should work in an office setting with only adults if that, as she is rude, condescending, lacks empathy and is poorly trained to work with any living being, let alone small children who deserve empathy, kindness and respect as all patients do. My child will never be “assisted” by her again.

I was never told i needed to call my insurance before the appointment, they did told me if wanted to be seen I needed to pay for the visit my self, front office is not helpful at all

Dr Lopez es una gran pediatra, se preocupa por tu bebe, siempre está dispuesta a responder todas tus inquietudes, es de los pocos Dr en Miami que en verdad escucha a sus pacientes. El staff es grandioso, Yesenia es maravillosa, muy dedicada, super profesional y agradable con los bebés.
