List of Avani Shah's Reviews
Very abrasive..did not feel comfortable with her. Didn't allow me to ask many questions. She walked out of the room and told me to go to the front desk.
Rude, condescending, no empathy, doesn't listen to half of what I said and told me I didn't know the difference in a headache and a migraine that I've been dealing with most of my life. Told me to go home and take some Tylenol and I'll be fine. I only wish I could make it zero stars as I have given her multiple tries before moving on simply because of how close I live and each visit she was rude. I once asked her to look at a rash( that's not why I went in) and she said my time was up and I need to make another appointment for that
Dr Shah was good. Front staff horrible.
I wouldn't give this Dr. even 1 star. I never liked this Dr. even from the first visit but I continued to go to her. Now, I am truly done with her rudeness. She spoke to me harshly and said I didn't follow her instructions which I did. She continued to say that I have been her patient for years. Not true. I have been maybe 1. She is the ugliest and meanest Dr. I have come across.
Excellent doctor.
She is straight and to the point but i don't find her rude. She doesn't waste time. Yes the visit is quick but they should be... she is thorough and asks questions and asks if you have questions... pretty straight forward.
The worst PCP we’ve ever had. My mom has been going to her for a year, and comes back frustrated after every visit. I decided to accompany her one day and was shocked at Shah’s poor behavior, rude and condescending tone and LACK of interest. She literally made us wait only to come into the room for less than 5 mins. She didn’t listen to any of the symptoms or concerns my mom had and basically started walking out. Isn’t your job to LISTEN to and advise the patient?!? We couldn’t even ask questions because she was so disinterested. Then she started belittling us for the type of insurance we had. I pay $900/month for that insurance AND she billed that same insurance $300 for our visit. That’s convenient isn’t it! If you want to be treated poorly, belittled and misdiagnosed all while paying for it, go and see this doctor. If not, spare yourself.
Did not have a good experience with this doctor.
I had Dr. Shah last year, saw her three times, she was in and out of the room less than 3 minutes, showed no caring, didn't listen and was quick to give me a pill that I didn't ask for!!!!
I visited Dr. Shah and had an awful experience. She was rude dismissive and condescending! I have the Shingles virus for the second time due to a weak immune system. I explained to her that I was having a lot of body aches and pains. She laughed and assured me that I was not telling the truth and Shingles could not cause such pain. I was mortified! I had spoken to her nurse prior, who has had the virus 3 times and knew the pain I had spoken of. I also had an elevated temperature and blood pressure due to my discomfort. When Dr. Shah dismissed my complaints as nothing (and chuckled) I grew very upset and began to cry. She did not care in the slightest. Her bedside manner was appalling and she should be removed from her practice. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!!!!!!!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
