I was a patient of his for a number of years & never had any problems with him. He's a little out of the way, unless you live on the beach, but well worth the effort.
Dr Laubenthal is the best......he has treated me for the last ten years.
Life saver The doctor diagnosed and treated me successfully. I have been a patient for ten years. I am leaving Florida and moving back home and I am truly going to miss him .Dr is a no nonsense physician, and I appreciate his candor. The last ten years my life has been stable and productive. He was a life saver for me.
Hello John Laubenthal. I am messaging to inform you of some recent information that I have come across. I also am wondering your relationship to Jerri Lynn Lane? Do you know Johnny McDonald or Susan McDonald? Please email me ASAP. Therefore gathering more sensitive information; perhaps you know of the Clewis family? Furthermore, do you know of any place where I may have my blood tested thoroughly with my knowledge and known consent that I have already calculated if I did not consent.?
I've been seeing Laubenthal for a few years now, I highly recommend him. He's professional and easy to talk to, and continues to help me with my stress and anxiety. Thank you doc!
Dr. L. is one of a few psychiatrists in our area, and the only one available to help me. Have been seeing him for a few years and he has always been honest and professional. If you are an adult in need of medical psychiatric services, I highly recommend Dr. L.
This guy is arrogant and full of what he thinks he know of u and quick to take a lot of money and receptionist lies to draw patients to pay crazy money. when trying to tell him what has work for you in decades he is quick to call you a drug seeker. When asking for money back he stated "this isn't McDonalds". Also when I went to fill the psychotic medication he prefer over years of normal meds that do no cause such side effects, he told pharmacy to no fill my prescription. Horrible person
Been going to him for years now! He is by far the best!
He kept trying to get me to take Xanax. I don't want Xanax. It's highly addictive. He's soooo rude and he actually told me I was rude? Weirdest doctor experience everrr.
This doctor is absolutely awful. He was, by far, the rudest doctor I have ever encountered. He criticizes his patients, questions their finances, and refuses to listen to the patient's symptoms. He wouldn't even open up the DSM Book, which is required for psychiatrists to make an accurate diagnosis. I majored in psychology in college and told him I don't meet the criteria for his diagnosis, and he said "Fine! You have OCD then! Does that make you happy?!" He then called my dad "crazy," and he's never even met him before. I asked him again to please open the DSM Book for an accurate diagnosis, and he placed his hand on it and said "No! I'm not gonna open it! I'm gonna go with my GUT." He has several one-star ratings for a reason.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
