Sanders Mckee's Online Review Report Card

Note that most all positive reviews are quite old. Sanders Mckee is a good man, and a solid doctor. He's a horrible business man - and (unfortunately) bears responsibility for complete inability to operate / serve normally. We all understand staffing issues, admin challenges etc. My entire family have been patients since the 1st week he opened. His care quality (because of complete inability to function) has dropped to the point I would recommend avoiding him at all cost. I can literally name 20 local friends who have the exact same experience and (should you be lucky enough to get someone to answer the phone & get in) you'll hear patients in the waiting room openly bashing the clinic; all with the same experience. They will literally go weeks without answering the phone, they won't return calls (no matter what option you choose) and I've personally witnessed them disconnect calls on 3 separate occasions while I was in the office. You can't get referrals out, the local pharmacists ALL say his office is the worst to deal with (ask your pharmacist), can't get refills called in, have gotten the wrong medication 3x, and can't get test results followed up. His care of my parents put one of them in a serious health crisis by not responding. Avoid this office at all cost. I've mentioned to him multiple times that other Drs. around have upgraded to high tech systems to assist staff in communication - he seems totally disinterested in improving. If he has enough patients in the waiting room to pay the bills, he shows no sign of actually caring about the care his clinic provides. Its sad - because I see him as a friend (and again a capable Dr.) At the end of the day he bears sole responsibility for the state of care there now. Worst GP in the area by FAR.

He’s a good doctor but has horrible staff. No one will even answer at the appointment desk. You leave messages and no one returns your call. Totally unacceptable for a doctors office.

I really like Dr. McKee but the lack of communication in them returning calls for anything is totally unacceptable for a doctors office. You have to leave multiple messages with different people to get them to eventually respond. Many times I’ve had to just go by there myself to talk with someone. Please be aware if you need important meds filled or need to be seen!

Awesome Dr great staff Dr McKee is passionate about his patients very kind he's been Dr since 2015 I would recommend him to anyone he's been there for me thick and thin all the way through all my hernia surgeries this Dr is awesome when I'm down he brings me up

Horrible,staff they never return calls from cvs for refills on major persciptions for my husband or myself and when I call myself. I just leave messages and no response,my husband had an episode because they let him run out of depression medication he's been taking for 2 years it was over a week and 4 calls and he had to go to office to get there attention. Now I'm getting the same thing no response for my blood pressure medication. And I'm not do to see my doctor for another 6 months. Very disappointing.

Would give a million stars for Dr. McKee if I could- hands down, absolutely, the best physician I've ever seen or been treated by. Where to begin? Dr. McKee is exceedingly kind, soft-spoken, gentle, and friendly. Traits all reinforced by his unbelievably vast medical knowledge and skills. I've yet to have an issue he did not immediately and correctly diagnose and send packing. Example: when I moved here 10 yrs ago I was cursed with a weird food allergy which would cause unbelievable itching under the palms of my hands and the soles of my feet, sometimes it would get so bad my tongue would swell. It was horrible, especially as it seemed to be getting worse each time and I never knew what might trigger it. Seemed to be caused by certain fast-food burgers but could happen anytime with other foods as well. Had been to a renowned allergist in Atlanta who performed expensive testing, all negative. He said he'd never seen or heard of my condition. Had all but given up. So I found Dr. McKee and on one visit, for some other issue, happened to mention this mysterious allergy- described the symptoms and he said, "Oh yeah, I know what this is and in fact I've had it myself- this is what you do......" I felt like a death row convict given a pardon when I walked out of there that day! Have since followed his simple, inexpensive instructions and have never suffered from it since. This is typical of what you might hear from his other patients as well. Other docs will have you describe your symptoms and then either send you to a specialist or recite a list of possible causes and send you for testing. Dr, McKee will probably just nod his head and say "Here's what this is and here's what we need to do..." And then do it right away. He's simply the best. He's had terrible support staff issues but since he got rid of most of the useless folks, who couldn't be bothered to answer or return phone calls or call-in prescriptions, the problem has improved, Even prior to Covid this area was the worst I've ever seen with people refusing to work, and it seems staff folks at medical practices have always, everywhere, been lazy with rotten attitudes. The physicians aren't aware of the problem unless and until patients complain directly to the physician- I certainly do and so should anyone else.

A very caring dr, been seeing him for years

Love Dr. Mckee to death, but the new girl at the front office is SO RUDE. I’ve been on a medication for 3 years and they want me to Come in so I can pay $50 to get a refill. If she was nice about it maybe I would have, but she’s SO rude. And has been rude on many occasions now. Not to mention their staff can never return phone calls efficiently!

My husband and I both use Mr. McKee. He is very knowledgeable, personable and we usually don't have to wait very long to be seen. Staff personnel are friendly and efficient.
