Dr. Mohamed and his staff seem to be willfully defrauding patients and charging insurance for services never rendered. AVOID THIS MD!
Dr. Mohamed and his staff seem to be willfully defrauding patients and charging insurance for services never rendered. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Found out my insurance had lapsed, unfortunately no answer at his office. Finally got an answer today and was informed that I had not given 48 hours notice, sorry I gave 30 hours, I was subject to $100 fee for not enough notice. No voicemail nothing for me to do. I'm done, do I want to reschedule? What do you think.
I have been seeing doctor Mohammad for well over 10 years he been great I just changed my insurance 3 times to have insurance he takes and was paying out of pocket as long as I could, I highly recommend him until now , last Thursday I had an Appointment I went in and I was told my perceptions would be sent to my pharmacy like always I have never had a problem, here it is a week later no medicine has been called in I can't reach Dr Mohammad who is this week out sick but is still filling refills, according to the front desk , but I still don't have the meds I need I have called every day and get excuse after excuse and no return call , I called today and was upset I need my medicine badly , she yelled at me told me she wont talk to me until i calm down ,and hung up on me , very unprofessional, when I tried to explain my diagnosis she snapped back I know your diagnosis, if she understood my diagnosis she would understand I need my meds to calm down and it's been a week I have been being patient while not being able to sleep and having issues doing my normal day . I don't want a new doctor but the front desk staff rudeness lack of compassion has made it worse not better , I will be seeing a new doctor because of the his staff not him .
Will keep your deposit A Deposit of $150 was required before beginning Services. When I decided to change doctors and had not seen him for over a year, the office staff tried to be helpful about the return of my deposit. However, there is a frequent turnover in front office staff and when calling you may need to explain billing issues from the start. When I requested my deposit back after changing provider to someone else, I was told was that they needed to verify my Social Security number that they supposedly didn't have. I provided this And then I got a story about having to verify something with my insurance company. All the claims were paid months before. Then I was told they needed to verify my husbands policy, which I was not on. I got the runaround time after time and was never refunded my deposit. Also, even if you have a legitimate reason that you cannot make the appointment , such as being out of town, you will still be charged a visit fee before you can reschedule.
I have been very pleased with every interaction with Dr Mohamed. He is very clear and concise. He is patient and explains if you do not understand. I have been able to essentially deal with major issues in my life and at the same time improve my overall health. In coordination with my other healthcare providers I have improved my sleep, my diet, my exercise and my overall general well being. A big thanks to Dr Mohammed!!
Bad man I was questioned about my insurance and copay 3 times. (I have good insurance) The Dr. ask how I was, ask about me, He prescribed medicine and sent me upfront, all in about 10 minutes. I asked the girl, is he going to talk to me anymore? She said, no sir. 2nd visit she asked me same questions about copay. Dr. ask if meds were working, ask a question about something I mentioned before, extremely difficult to talk about but before I completed my 1st sentence, he said excuse me and jumped up and left the room. He returned 10 min later and said I'm glad the medication is working and will see you next month, she will set appt. up and get your copay.????? What??? Am I really at a Psychiatrists office???3rd visit, she didnt have to ask about my insurance because he came up front and put theinsurance form, in my face saying medicare didnt pay him 100% and hitting the paper with his finger saying I owe him money! My wife is talking to someone about psychiatrist ethics. Thiscanthappenagain
I saw Dr. Mohamed around 2018 regularly. He constantly tried to push medicine on me that would "help me lose weight" when I came there for treatment for my ADHD and depression -- I was perfectly fine with my weight. He was constantly going on tangents about politics and gender roles to me, which was vividly inappropriate for the setting. In the time he was my psych he was shut down twice for not meeting credentials to practice. Please if you can manage it find someone else! (I'm shocked he's still in business...)
This man pushes political, religious and cultural beliefs on patients that demean women. He also speaks inappropriately about women's bodies. In addition to all of that, he habitually doesn't return $100 deposits and doesn't submit insurance claims until 10 months later, which he is penalized and fines for. He constantly over talks you and only wants to write prescriptions for many drugs that don't mix well. Stay far away from him. I've taken legal action to get the money he owes me.
Poor experience. Does not send in the correct medication to pharmacy. He only collects your money, does not care about the welfare of his patients. Office Staff is rude and judgmental. Do not recommend.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
