receptionist refused to provide basic info to help a suffering addict since the patient was not going to be their paying client. Bad karma to withhold help to the suffering who are looking for help.

I have a peace about my recovery because I know Im not alone. The entire team at Gulf Coast Addiction medicine truly care and that means alot considering this affects our lives in such a profound way. Youre not just another number or face youre someone they care about and strive to help with continued success.

The idea that taking one drug in place of another without a path to complete freedom from addiction is ridiculous and dangerous. Advocate for yourself dont accept your addiction give up treat your disease as a disease that you can recover from. If your Doctors only plan is to keep your addiction comfortably maintained then you need to find a Doctor with a plan to wean you off the dope.

Total unprofessionalism. I have changed my care to another provider. The front office staff Jennifer in particular is rude condescending and unprofessional. Dr. Stavros is dismissive. I am an addict. I have a disease. I am treated like a piece of dirt on the carpet here. I get excellent care at my new provider. Do NOT GO HERE

They got me in on the same day I called. The doctor is very polite and seems to really care for his patients. Ill be a repeat customer. Good business.

If you dont do the right thing yes you will probably have a bad experience. But I know all of them and have always treated me with the upmost respect. Yes it costs a little bit but how much were you spending on your drug of choice? I noticed it only put a portion of my comments. But one more thing...If you want a DR. that genially cares about you then thats Dr Stavrosand HIS STAFF. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not listen to these people who give bad reviews. They are people who had a different agenda or even his competition trying to give hard working people a bad wrap. These people do care especially Dr. Stavros

Gulf Coast Addiction Medicine has changed my life I have received nothing but caring and understanding from ALL the staff members. To those who would say that they had a bad experience or received negative attitude from ANY staff member is just plain lying. People like that are obviously not there to seek help with their addiction and are just trying to fool themselves. To those people I would say GROW UP recovery is not all smiles and roses.
