I’m still alive unfortunately. This entire town and county has the most deadliest healthcare and incompetent. As far as I’m concerned we do not have hospitals in Panama City Florida or they county. I will never go again I have been there three times since June 2018 for after effects and TIAs for two minor strokes they diagnosed me with Befor Hurricane Michael and I have been there two times since with blood pressure out of control. What happened to me and how I was treated it’s literally unspeakable. Adds more burden to my life as a stroke survivor as a survivor of compound complex post traumatic stress disorder am I living conditions as a result of a hurricane Michael. And how I was treated in the hospital speaks volumes as to what person I would or would not be at this day in my life.

Was told by Sedexo that they do Not hire outside of Bay County for this hospital

I’m diabetic and the drs held my insulin and sent me into DKA twice . When I came into the er on Halloween I stated I think I’m getting colitis going into DKA or gastric issues. Ran tests and said no I didn’t have colitis or was in DKA then said yes I am. Then decided to alter my insulin dosage without my knowledge and said if I dosed myself with the insulin I brought rom home I’d be discharged .You wouldn’t keep medication from someone who has chronic seizures so why on earth would you keep insulin away from an insulin dependent diabetic . This hospital used to be so much better . I’m not sure what happened 😕I cry every time there’s a chance I have to come to the hospital because I know they are just gonna mess me up more before they get me better . Being scared to go the hospital to get much needed treatment isn’t ok . When a patient hands you a list of their daily medications and dosages please don’t ignore it .

Took my daughter here for a procedure in February and was told if I paid in full that day with cash I would get a discount. Paid the amount owed and had her procedure done. Four months later I get a bill asking for more money. When I called billing they told me it was a mistake and that they would handle it and have it written off. Nine months after the procedure I get a bill from a collections agency because they never took care of it. When I spoke to billing again they told me even though the bill shouldve been written off since I paid in full that day it was out of their hands since they already sent it collections. Flat out admitted multiple people made mistake after mistake with billing but the financial director refused to help me. Avoid this hospital at all costs unless you want to get endless bills for random amounts months and months later even after you pay.

My son and girlfriend is here fixing to have my granddaughter. I was stopped at front desk. They said I can not go up to the lager waiting room. They said the other mom and sister is in waiting room and that is to many. There is more than one side of family. Then I was told since it is past 8 now. Nobody can see her. So if you have a baby late you cant have family around.

went up there before daughter went into labor couldnt go back there with my daughter was told to leave visiting hrs were over I thought their was no time limit when your grandchildren are born I will never go back to gulf coast hospital ever again for no reason what was suppouse to be a joyus time was a very bad time thanks gulf coast for ruining the most precious thing in my life I didnt even get too see my granddaughter for the first time and still havent seen her 😢

I came to go to labor waiting room to swap to see new grandbaby. Front desk wouldnt let me up. Cause two people was in waiting room. They hold more than two.And you have more than one side of the family. I can understand limited people in delivery room.

Nurses seem to be attentive and care about treating my husband for his condition but cleanliness is important too when it comes to preventing STAPH infections because my husband has been tested positive for it and he hasnt been allowed to take a shower because the staff doesnt want to have to assist him because theyre worried hell fall. Other than that housekeeping staff needs to do a better job cleaning and sanitizing rooms instead of just taking out the garbage

Terrible service with ridiculous wait times barely even cares for you when youre there. Staff is condescending and rude
