Marwan Obid's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Obid treated me for COPD. After just a few weeks, I was breathing so much easier. As far as bedside manner,Dr. Obid is kind and concerning and has a sense of humor that is rare among most doctors nowadays. He accepts many different forms of insurance and his clerical staff always make you feel at home. Waiting time? I almost never had to wait when I checked in for a routine appointment.

I've known and been a patient of the Obids for a long time and they, along with their staff, are truly caring & attentive to their patients. I highly recommend this office to everyone!

UPDATED: I’ve been a patient for three years. It was like pulling teeth to get a return phone call from his staff and I never, to my recollection, received a return phone call from him. Zero concern for my needs as a patient. Before I left this review, I reached out in an attempt to get a referral for a specialist. He withheld this referral. It was a very important referral for me. After leaving a few messages, basically begging for a return call, I decided to leave a review in the hopes of supporting others who may be having the same issue with him, as well as helping other potential patients make an informed choice. But, instead of a return phone call from Dr Obid, I received a certified letter stating he can no longer care for me as a patient. (No time for a phone call but time for certified letter??) Cowardly and gross. Next, filing complaints with the appropriate people, including FL Board of Medicine and Tricare.

I’ve been a patient for three years and it’s STILL like pulling teeth to get a referral or even a basic appointment. Staff rarely, rarely return calls. And I never get a return call from him. Seems to have zero genuine care or concern for my needs as a patient. Extremely frustrating. Looking for a new doctor.

Staff is not friendly or helpful, Obid does not listen and when I went for my second visit that I was told I had to come back a month later for, when I politely disagreed with what he had told me a month before he told me not to come back. After he gotten money for a first time appointment and second. I am glad I found out early about this office. Doc is super friendly when walking in the door, as long as he doesn't have to do his job. Thank goodness I have choices to go elsewhere. Others may not. Good luck if you have to go here.

Very good Doctor when he will see you. Great for routine stuff but when you have an emergency and really need to see him he and his staff refuse to make time for you. He’s been my physician for over 20 years and he treats me like I’m coming in for the first time. Oh well I guess it’s time to find a new Doctor.

Timely appointment, correct diagnosis and extremely friendly. Been seeing dr Obid for years and very pleased

My wife and I have been going to doctor obid for over three years and sent our daughter to see him. She was told she had too many issues and would not be accepted as a patient. She was given no other doctors that might be able to help her and sent out of the office she demanded$30 copay back and was devastated. Doctor obid Buzz not following the hypocritical oath to take care of patients therefore I and my wife and my family will go elsewhere

Dr Obid is very polite and always so helpful. In my last 2/3 visited in his clinic his receptionist was sound so round. If anyone have questions about Medicine or about appointment you can tell by her voice of ton and behavior she's very rude. All I wanted say to her please be nice ma'am because you don't what going on someone life.
