Dr. Hysong performed an emergency surgery on my mother. She was absolutely wonderful and took the time to come out and speak to me and my husband and answer all of our questions. She is very thorough and so nice. I am so very thankful for her quick action and her caring and considerate character.

Dr. Hysong is the reason my wife is here today. No one knows why my wife survived 2 months in a coma. Other doctors wanted to do exploratory surgery, that most likely my wife would never survive. Dr Hysong said no and allowed my wife's body to heal. She was there everyday, even on her off day. She kept me encouraged and never gave up. Her compassion gave me hope. That was Febuary through April 2012; my wife is still going strong today.. Thank you Dr Housing.

After the initial meeting, l felt confident in Dr Hysong. Surgery went well, and her staff was very helpful, always there to answer questions, when l had concerns during recovery. I highly recommend Dr Hysong as a surgeon

Dr. Hysong took over once my mother was admitted to the hospital. She is a very compassionate doctor with excellent knowledge as a surgeon. My mother surgery turned from a simple procedure to a open long surgery . Dr. Hysong was amazing and a Godsent! Would recommend her to anyone! Awesome and amazing! She cares for her patients and follows through with them with great details!

Dr. Hysong is simply an amazing Surgeon. She is a very Compassionate, and comforting person. So genuine. Even though I sat on the side lines. I was able to watch her interact with my friends family. She explained things completely and with empathy, as if it was happening to one of her own family members. I have worked in the medical field a long time around a lot of surgeons and physicians. She is hands down one of the best.

Dr. Hysong took over my care after I was admitted through the emergency room at Bay Medical Sacred Heart. She was truly a "Godsend" for me. I was minutes away from surgery with another Dr. when she came to talk to us about what might be an alternative solution to my problem--a small bowel obstruction. With her "conservative management" she took over my care for the next three days and I was able to leave the hospital without surgery and without an obstruction. I would not hesitate to return to Dr. Hysong and am happy to recommend her compassionate, knowledgeable care to anyone.
