Scheduling and staff was great!! Dr. Bain is completely the opposite. Very arrogant and cocky to a point where the patients’ concerns and questions don’t matter. What he says is basically final. Informed my PCM of this horrible experience and waste of my time. I highly recommend another opinion if you are referred to him. Did not look at the full history of my case; only what he did accurate when he tested me. Very disappointing and obnoxious bed side manner. Zero compassion or empathy. He spoke to me in a tone to make me feel degraded and incompetent of my own health. Make sure to advocate for yourself always!
I cannot comment on his medical knowledge, but i would consider his judgment concerning patient care to be poor at best. He is extremely unpleasant. During the procedure, he made everyone (the patient, patient's family and the two nurses who were present) uncomfortable and the situation more traumatic because he was so unpleasant and condescending. Even though he has been in PC many years, he has also worked in several locations during his career. His bedside manner might be why.
Found Dr. Bain to be an excellent doctor. Explained procedure in depth and put me and my wife at ease. Panama City is lucky to have a doctor of his quality and experience. Would definitely recommend Dr. Bain.
If your looking for warm fuzzies and compassion I would continue to search . Unfortunately his bedside manner is not the most desirable (for patient and patients family). He does seem to be adequate at his job, which in retrospect should be the most important. But bedside manner goes a long way when trying to make a crying patient and concerned family members feel at ease.
I had a recent procedure done by him. Because of an illness I have, a side effect that should have only lasted a few minutes, lasted an hour and a half. He refused to give me a medicine (not a pain pill) that would have ended it. My husband had to run home and get the medicine to stop the spasms. Not a pleasant person.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
