Cynthia Harris's Online Review Report Card

I started seeing Dr. Harris in 2016. She took me on as a patient with IPMNs, which are pancreas cysts in the side branches of the pancreas duct. She’s always been exceptionally kind and professional. I moved to Florida from up North and was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to find a GI doctor experienced with procedures involving the pancreas. Dr. Harris has been able to put my mind at ease because she doesn’t treat people like a guinea pig. She explained everything to me about my illness and is always good at listening. If I elect not to undergo a procedure I’ll explain to her past problems I’ve had and she then advises me on the best options. When needed she will refer to a different specialist especially if something is outside her field of expertise. I personally and highly recommend her. She’s an EXCELLENT GI physician.

I am a 100% disabled Vietnam veteran. Dr. Harris treated me with the understanding and authorization from the VA that payment for my treatment comes directly from the VA and she agreed to accept any VA payment as payment in full. Twice, after receiving payment from the VA she came after me for additional funds through a collection agency. They used coercion by threatening to ruin my credit if I did not pay $400+. The VA stated that she was paid based on the VA payment schedule and I was not to pay anything further. The debt calls and threats became so overwhelming that eventually, I paid it just to protect my credit. Now, she is doing it again for another $278. This is an unconscionable thing to do to a service-connected disabled vet. Veterans and anyone sympathetic to veterans please BEWARE!

Dr. Harris is a fantastic Doctor who really takes the time to listen to her patients. The only problem is she left the practice she was with in Sarasota, and I can’t locate her. Can anyone help?

She takes her time and explains things that a patient can comprehend.

I have a critical gastrointestinal condition demanding a good doctor. She is not one. Do not bother.

I was very impressed with Dr. Harris and her team. She was very thorough and personable. She did an upper endoscopy and a colonoscopy in their facility. Very clean. Everyone was running around. Great nurses and admins, receptionist,. Dawn spent the most time with me. She was super, but they were all good. They couldn't have done anything more. Constantly checking. Scheduling girl left msg with wrong time. I left msg, but no call back. Known issue. Have a feeling they need to pay the help more.

I went to see her in a really bad pain and with a lot of GI problems and when I called to make initial appointment they got me in quick. Dr Cynthia Harris was absolutely awesome. She was great with me. Dr. Cynthia Harris explained everything very well. She listened to me. I recommend everyone to Dr. Cynthia Harris. She was very sensitive with my needs. People at her clinic was very caring and helpful.
