Alvin Gutierrez's Online Review Report Card

Dr Alvin Guiterez has a very rude front office staff. The lady that handles the phone calls & always at the front desk is Odales. Customer service, or dealing with patients is not her calling. The Dr may think that treating people anyway is not important to patients but it is. We do not need to be aggravated with your staff disgusting bad attitude. That’s why I am taking my mother elsewhere, don’t need to put up with this anymore! We are not on welfare and I make 7 figures and don’t need your horrible front staff office services! If you want to get better and find a good quality doctor with excellent nurses and staff don’t go to this office because you will never get quality service there. This office staff thinks the patients work for them and are on their payroll. This is by far one of the worst Doctors office staff we have experienced. They treat Senior Citizens like animals, especially Odales, she is just horrible and needs Anger Management Therapy. This office appears to think they are in a third world country and patients need them, well I have news for you all, Dr Alvin Guiterez, this is America, and you and your sad front desk staff just got FIRED!!

I been calling since 8:30 am to cancel the appointment for tomorrow and I left a message. To call me back. I been calling and they keep putting me on hold it is 2:15 pm today is Tuesday. And then if you don’t call and cancel the appointment what happens. I’m putting this here today to keep it as a reference. Thank you. I need this

I scheduled the annual physical appointment with this doctor Alvin Gutierrez, and after one month waiting for it as a new patient, they said to me "you need to pay $113". I explained to them this was the annual checkup and the insurance United Health Care always cover that cost, but they said to me: Because you are a new patient, you must pay. Of course I left that office immediately. My personal opinion of this doctor? 1) He doesn't like new patients 2) He is more interested in the money than the patients health.

I hate to write bad review unless completly nessesary. First off! Dr. Alvin Gutierrez is amazing and if you don't care what I about to say then he's great. HOWEVER, his office attendees specially DAPHNEE are rude,inconsiderate and completly unprofessional. They will never help you. They keep passing the buck. Good luck trying to get them on the phone. When you do their blunt and rude. For example a while ago, It's been two years since covid and we were running late. Only had 1 mask with us. DAPHNEE kicked my 89 year old mother out and refused to give her a mask. We stated we were late and did not have one but would be happy to wear one if provided. Very rudly forced us out and said it's not our problem. She waited 2 months for this appointment and needed medications refilled which they refused to send the request to the doctor and Said we have to come in to see him. I found it hard to believe a DOCTORS office would not have 1 single mask laying around for an old lady and a long time patient of his. Nope ,in the end we walked around as much as we could at her age to try and find a mask which took almost 20 yo 30 min. When we came back she said we had to rebook the appointment due to the tardiness. "It is going to mess with our schedule". So in the end Daphnee forced us to leave and miss her long awaited appointment. We ended up having to go to the emergency department because her blood pressure was getting so high over the next days to come from not having her medication. The ER doc said it was so high she could have had a stroke!!. Several family member and I have since removed ourselves from this office due to the aforementioned. I hope someone from memorial physician group or Dr. G himself see's this and makes a clean out change in his office. Cause I'm sure we're not the only people they're treating like that. This is just one of many issues. Save yourself the trouble.

Are always 110%, no waiting, treated with so much respect, it’s hard to put into words. This is a very special doctor and staff that really does put the patient first. And you get grade A medical treatment. In the past, now and I guarantee in the future from the very many years I have been a patient at this office. The doctor and staff has handled mine and other patients I know and all medical needs were exceptionally taken care of. Highly recommended!!!

Doctor Gutierrez is an excellent physician, very caring with his patient. BUT, there is one thing that I can say negative about his office, the front office staff. Staff are very inefficient, unprofessional and unreliable. I left a multiple message for the doctor and calls never been return. I hope that Dr. Gutierrez will look at this and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of these office staff.

This is the worst doctor to go to. They decided not to take part of my insurance & not tell me until after I was at the appointment & desperately need to see a doc. Then they said to do the blood work with them because it would be easier for them, didn’t tell me it’s going to be $100+ now I’m trying to find a new doctor & they want to charge me a $1 per page. I’ve been with him for about 20 years & it’s never been like this. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN, GET AWAY!!!
