Ana Tamayo's Online Review Report Card

WORST DR OFFICE EVER!!!!! The front desk lady needs to be FIRED!! She knows NOTHING!!!!! walks around like she's on drugs, doesn't know anything about working in an office, much less about insurance, people skills, etc!! I was a new client, got there 30 min early, was told to sit, wait and when she felt like it, 15 min later, she gave me the paperwork (7 pages) but the first page is the office trying to make you sign that YOU are responsible for any and all payments, even after ins pays, way too many forms locking you in to whatever she wants to charge you and using your signature for any and all things she wants to charge!! Run fast and never go back to this horrid, unprofessional, dirty, nasty fraud of an office!!!!! I'm also calling the medical board to make a complaint against this very unprofessional doctor and her family staff!!! Disgusting that your even a doctor!!!!

Dr. Tamayo has a way of making you feel comfortable while you are being examined. The office itself is always clean, and the staff is friendly and efficient. Dr. Tamayo's knowledge and experience is evident in her professional conduct and her informative conversations with her patients. I recommend her without hesitation.

I have to say I actually can’t believe what I witnessed today. First let me say the office is WORST. Minus the receptionist. She is sweet, helpful and very understanding. The office manager is very ignorant most likely a relative of the doctor or she would have been fired already. She is inept when it comes to understanding insurance. The doctor even said to her, “insurance is your job”. All of this because she is unfamiliar with active military insurance. After the receptionist helped to clear up the office managers issue, I decided to stay as this was a second opinion for a surgery. At the moment I was going to pay the doctor walked out and needed something from the receptionist and the way that Dr. Tamayo spoke to her was utterly disrespectful. At that time I decided the issue starts from the top and decided to leave after spending an hour clearing up the office mangers ignorance. I am assuming the office doesn’t read these or care but if this helps save anyone from the this terrible treatment, it was worth the write up. Save yourself. This place is scary. A side not two other patients commented on how foul and unhelpful the office manager is. It made me really wonder why any of us put up with this type of treatment.

Don't go there the steal money from you guys they over charged you every time you go, please before you go always double check with your insurance to make sure the tell you how much is your copay.If you don't do that you will be overcharged for each visit just watch out. the first visit my copay supposed to be 5 dollars they charged me $20.00, in my 2nd visit they charged me $35.00 when I called the insurance to find out they told me you supposed to pay only 5dollars, I called them for a reimbursement they asked me for my receipt I was so,so upset,I said ok,since then I never went back and the just reimbursed me the 25.00 only and they kept my first 15.00dollars.Just becareful when you go there.
