I have been a patient of Dr Antonio Defilippo over 20 years and I must say he is the best psychiatrist in Florida.

I have been seeing Dr. D. for many years. It has been hard to find something that will help me gain, part of my life back. He never gave up. We tried so many things to keep me balanced. I have my days because there is an illness. He is not a miracle worker, he needs you and me to give feedback on what is working or not. I can say, he has been there for me. I will continue traveling to see him. Thank you Doc.

What I can tell you is this. The Dr. does take my insurance and he was and is taking new patients. I left 3 messages and no one and I mean no one ever got back to me. I left the messages with a live person. How can a Psychiatrist office do this.

I called the office 3 times and left a message with a live person and no one from the office ever returned my call. They take my insurance and are taking new patients. How can a doctors office especially a psychiatrist office do this?

After over 10 years of seeing him, he became frustrated with his inability to find a depression drug that would help me. So he diagnosed me with Bipolar 1 and I told him that I disagreed with that diagnosis. I know I had PTSD since my child had be raped by a family member that I had constant contact with. Yes there was depression, anxiety, guilt, worthlessness anger;but I never saw suicide as an answer for me. He just seemed to become hostile towards me after I disagreed with the new diagnosis. I researched it and I didn't have the symptoms of the diagnosis. Needless to say I found a new doctor.

Whoever picked up the phone today. I asked where they were located. Front desk girl answered with an attitude. I asked when I could make an appointment. She said with attitude that they weren’t taking any. Get someone better to answer the phone.
