My experience with Dr Castrellon is very good and his very helpful
Dr. Casterollon is amazing! He takes his time to address any questions and treatment plan. His calm demeanor is comforting.
After my Cancer diagnosis five years ago I naturally was frightened as to what lies ahead. I was referred to Dr Aurelio and realized God was watching over me. In fact I have faced other medical problems and couldn’t get an appointment with my regular medical doctor knowing I had a raging UTI. I reached out to Dr Aurelio and he was so helpful. He gave me a script and even though it improved it seemed to be lingering. Dr Aurelio followed up with me and I went in and he tested the bacteria to find an antibiotic that would fight this strain and it worked. How grateful I am that he listens and cares enough to reach out. I trust him implicitly and am so grateful for his expertise caring humility and special gift of healing. I love MGS for employing such gifted medical doctors and staff
Dr. Castrellon is my Cancer Doctor and I work for him. He is such a humble, kind, smart and caring doctor. He exceed my expectations as a patient. Or Breast cancer survivor. I see every day how Dr. Castrellon is envolved in the best treatment for his patients and he also visit them at the hospital. I especially appreciate his focus on mind, body and spirit. As an author, I read his book" Find Life in Illness" and gave so much hope respect and admiration as a person and as a doctor. I consider him an excellent doctor, very professional and with a high human sensitivity, I truly recommend him as a doctor. I will give him five points!
Dr Castrellon has always been very caring and thorough doctor. I am confident of the care he has given me for many years.
It is my honor and privilege to recognize and thank Dr Auerlio Castrellon for being my “safe place to land” throughout this healing journey upon which God has directed me. Dr. Castrellon sets a Standard of Care protocol that is evident from the moment you enter the Center. It is his sincere and well deserved respect from and for his wonderful staff, that is then mirrored back to those of us on the other side of the desk. Always greeted with a comforting and reassuring smile and a desire to make each visit, especially on a tough day, one of utmost care and attention in an atmosphere of trust and confidence. Whether at the front desk, lab, exam room or infusion suite, Dr. Castrellon’s dedicated and caring staff is always a reflection of his untiring and total commitment to each of his patients, for which I am so very grateful. People often refer to “The Practice of Medicine”. God knows we need all that medicine has to offer, however, it is my belief that it is not the be all, end all of patient care. It has been my life experience having been blessed as a daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother, that has taught me that medicine alone has its limits. Words alone cannot express how a patient is so much more than a lab test result or a view on a film or CD. True healing must be inclusive of mind, body and spirit within the healing community in which a patient finds themself. There are good days...and there are better days...and throughout Dr. Castrellon has always been there with his strongly held belief in God and his unfailing faith, which he graciously shares, and I for one, humbly and gratefully accept. He brings years of experience and professionalism, and his gift of compassion, and ability to listen, truly listen, with an open heart and mind, can make all the difference in the hearts and minds of his patients. When faced with an unexpected and devastating diagnosis, through the blur of fear and disbelief, the only voice I heard was my own-crying out to God for His mercy and help...it is with a most humble and grateful heart that my prayers were answered..... in the gift of Dr. Aurelio Castrellon. My prayer is that God continue to bless Dr. Castrellon and it is with a very grateful heart I thank his family for sharing him with me and all of us who are so blessed to be in his care.
I’m currently in the hospital visiting my long time friend who is hooked up to life-saving tubes for IV fluids, a blood transfusion, and dialysis. His office took blood work WEEKS ago confirming that she had a UTI. He prescribed an antibiotic. Last week he took more blood work and called her about 4 days later to inform her she was SEVERELY dehydrated and SEVERELY anemic. His advice: “Drink lots of water. Pretend you’re a fish.” At the time she received this message, she had missed 2 days of work and was on her 6th day of not being able to peel herself out of bed. After being urged by her daughter, who lives in another city, to go to urgent care, she did. *KIDNEY FAILURE* Fast forward to the ICU, her chart reveals that she was in early kidney failure weeks ago with the original UTI diagnosis. So the advice to “Pretend you’re a fish” should have been “Go to the ER. I’m concerned about your health.” A medical professional in the hospital informed her that she would have died had she not entered the hospital when she did. Where is the bedside manner and common sense? This is just ONE of many balls dropped dealing with this doctor. When does it stop?!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
