Barbara Martinez's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Martinez office use to be a very compassionate and caring office until the staff changed over the last year or so . Ive been coming here for over 11 years and have always been taken care of Ive even send in a thank you floral as a Thank you gift for their services. But since Covid this new staff does not work diligently. You call the office and it goes to voicemail then when it finally gets to voicemail its full. They never respond back to you especially if its from a patient or Dr. Office or pharmacist. Ive waited for my meds as the pharmacy tries to reach them and to no avail.But the Dr itself she is a warm caring Dr. She has always been but what good is it if she doesnt get the messages from her staff to her.. So she doesnt know and thats really bad. Ive tried to reach her or office Manager and havent been able to.. Many times Ive had to go there to see personally and Ive had to wait as I watch one of the staff on her cell texting and the other filing her nails. Its irritating. Ive had to decide to leave my Dr after 11 years due to her negligent staff. Im sorry but my health is more important if I cant really get to reach my physician.. Hopefully if the Dr. reads this somehow shell reach out to me.So for all those new patients beware carefully. I still have to say Ill miss the Dr.she really is awesome.

Was looking to schedule an appointment as I am scoping for a new primary physician and reception kept questioning me to know what type of insurance I have even though my insurance sent me a list of physicians covered by them. I told her the card info and still seemed invalid to her... placed me on hold for 15 min to finally attempt to input my card on another system then proceeds to say that system is down. Decided to read the reviews and recent ones seem accurate on incompetent staff.

Dr.Martínez and her PA are amazing. The office staff needs a little work. I have been seeing Dr.Martínez for 4 maybe 5 years and in this time I have experienced the dishonesty and rudeness from office staff.

Staff unprofessional and the Dr herself has poor communication skills hence explains why the staff behaves the way they do. Treats everyone as a drug seeker and everything ends in contact a specialist. So wondering if someone needed treatment for high bp will she tell them go see a cardiologist obviously not. Therefore whats the problem with the treatment of anxiety as it was not a “real condition”.

We think Dr. Martinez is very good but her office staff are incompetent. They never return calls they don’t understand their own computer billing system I have a credit and they have no idea how to use it they don’t delete messages from their answering machine so it fills up and you are unable to leave a message but really doesn’t matter since they do not return phone calls anyway etc.I actually recommended to someone in next door when asked for recommendations for a primary Dr. Martinez. The persons responded that Dr. Martinez was the primary she was leaving because her office staff and maybe her are totally unresponsive.

Doctor Martinez is a great doctor she really cares for her patients and answers any questions her patients have. HOWEVER the receptionists at the office are so terrible and never pick up the phone. I would have appointments over the phone at 130 and I would never receive a call or a link and when I would call I would be forwarded to their answering machine or be put on hold for 1015 minutes. It is absolutely ridiculous and disrespectful I hope this office fixes this.

I really like this Dr. the staff are really helpful and the Doctor is great

I made an appointment here I showed up at the scheduled date and time confirmed by prime physicians via email and no one was even there. I was supposed to receive test results and when walking up to the office the door was locked and the lights were out.When calling to reschedule and find out what happened I received no clear explanation as to why I was stood up for my appointment. On top of that the doctor is rarely available and I have been forced to see just the practitioner for months. Needless to say I’m looking for a new physician one who respects the patient’s time.
