I met Dr. Horowitz for the first time the other day. I was at the end of my rope trying to get the help I needed. He sat with me, took an interest in me and finally has me on the right prescriptions for my issues. I felt like he really cared and then he checked in on me the next day to make sure I was able to get to the pharmacy.

He took the time to sit with me after I was admitted to the hospital and care about my overall health. He coordinated all other doctors and made sure I was handling everything well. He was kind and understanding and I felt well cared for. I trust him more than any other doctor I've seen.

I had been seeing another doctor and still feeling anxious and not getting access to the services I needed. Dr. Horowitz took the time to understand my issues, put me on the right medication and personally connected me with the services I have needed. I am finally on the path to a better quality of life with much less anxiety. He was caring and took the time with me no one else had.

I have been seeing him for a few months now and he is the first doctor who took a real interest in helping me get through my depression. He found the right combination of medicine and therapy for what I needed. He connected me with all of the community resources I didn’t even know existed. Best doctor I’ve seen so far.

Dr. Horowitz helped me when no one else would. He took the time to understand my issues and prescribe medication which has finally gotten my anxiety and depression under control. He coordinated a team to provide me support and listened to me in a way other doctors had not. I highly recommend Dr. Horowitz.

saw him at the 2301 N University office. I was told that he would get me plugged in to community assistance. He told me everything was going to get better. I have nowhere to go but up. He told me he'd call me back the next day to schedule an intake appt to get me "plugged in". To not worry about checking out with the front desk. He never called. That was last month. He's dealing with people who aren't "having a good day" The last thing a mental health professional should do is make a promise to a patient that they have no intention of keeping. He also made inaccurate assumptions and recorded them into my MyChart. Wrong answers to questions he never asked. Wrong answers that could potentially undermine my chances of getting help in the future. This has been heartbreaking and infuriating. Life is already one long march through Hell and I am so tired. I feel like I have nothing left to lose.
