Ella Varney's Online Review Report Card

Best physician I have ever seen.

I went to see Dr. Varney without reading any of these reviews first and boy I wish I had. Im just relieved to see that Im not the only person who has experienced poor service at her office. The front desk staff were very helpful and kind however Dr. Varney was rude and dismissive. I absolutely wont be returning.

Im surprised that she still has her license to practice medicine. I had to see her because of my insurance but I felt so belittled everytime I saw her I quit seeking medical attention. She would also only discuss one symptom per visit and since I have an autoimmune disease thats almost impossible to do. Needless to say once I got new insurance and the guts to see a new doctor I had some serious issues going on. Shes going to end up causing someone to be terminally ill some day.

By far the worst and most condescending and disrespectful Dr I have ever seen. I was told my symptoms were in my head. She only acknowledges diagoses that she believes exist bc she treated them in Russia. She completely dismisses diagnoses that have existed for decades in the US. I honestly believe someone could have a baseball size tumor on their head and she would tell them to drink water or that its all in their head. She has the worst attitude I have ever experienced. I was there for 3hrs.

not recommending this doctor. did not like this doctor. Not recommending her to nobody. Very rude to patients.

I had written a favorable review in the past but recently I am not so sure about her presence in this profession. Shes very one sided and opinionated. She makes you wait for a really long time and has no clue why youre even there even though a letter is sent to make any kind of follow up appointment. She gives false information such as drinking distilled water and abstaining from wine for the rest of my life. I mean shes clearly not right for this field. I will not go to her again.

The wait is rediculous. I waied on average of 1 hour to see the nurse than another hour to see the doctor than another hour of her talking. All just for a simple problem that needed antibiotics. Every time I have gone there I have spent at least 2.5 to 3 hours there. She speaks so softly you can barley understand her Russian accent plus all of the cars driving by outside makes it hard.

I went to see Dr. Varney for prescription refills. I waiting in the waiting room for over one hour. When I was finally taken to an exam room I then waited an additional hour. When I politely asked the staff how much longer it might be they disregarded me and answered rudely. After the DR. Came in and lectured me on the dosage of my anti depressant she finally refilled my prescription. She wrote me the wrong dose doubling one prescription and decreasing another by 50mg. DO NOT SEE THIS DR.

Ran expensive tests that were unhelpful. This doctor made my life a living hell. Save yourself the stress and go to the Doctor Express on Tamiami who will listen and get your problems fixed immediately.

Went on to talk about herself and how her problems were real and much worse went on and on complaining about her life and completely invalidated the problems I was having. Gave me unnecessary diet advice. Ran expensive tests that were unhelpful. She made me feel unwelcome and in terrible hands. This doctor made my life a living h I would not go back to this doctor under any circumstances. Save yourself the stress and go to the Doctor Express on Tamiami who will listen and get your problems fixed immediately.
