I’ve been a patient of Dr. Souto for over 9 years. I was seen by him in UM. I became sick and was told he no longer did practice there. I have SOD (Sphincter of Oddi Dysfunction) and had to be hospitalized 3 times. It was hard because not all GI’s understand SOD or can make ERCP procedures. On February 5th i was hospitalized for the 4th time in less than a month. I was in excruciating pain with vomiting. I went to Memorial Hospital were now Dr. Souto works. As I lay crying in bed I literally cried and asked for Dr Souto knowing that he was the only one who could do the procedure and make me feel better. Long story short he did and I am recovering well. He is the most caring, and gentle doctor I’ve ever known.. He’s expertise in what he does and the knowledge he has plus bed side patient is what he’s best at. Thank you Dr. Souto I will be forever grateful. I recommend him ??. Trust my words you will NEVER regret it… ??

I have seen world renowned experts in his field from Boston, DC and FL over the past few years and none of them come anywhere close to the abilities, care, professionalism and help that Dr Souto has provided. You will not find a better doctor in his field.
