I love this doctor for our family ophthalmologist. Office is clean and efficient and doctor is very thorough and explains things well.

I really like this place and this doctor. I had a very pleasant experience with my son who has autism. She was very patient and thorough.i highly recommend this doctor and will definitely be coming back.

This doctor exceeded our expectations. I w went to another doctor and clinic and they could not give us a diagnosis. The doctor took one look at my son and not only gave us a diagnosis but lots of handouts discussion and explanation of what to expect with him moving forward. She really explained everything step-by-step until I could understand his condition. Office is very efficient and there’s always a quick check in process. They have migrated everything electronically, and it is very easy to work with this office. Highly recommend

Awesome service. Quick check in process especially if you come prepared. Doctor is very knowledge and really helped out my baby and took time to answer questions. The medical portal is also excellent. So much detail and i was amazed at how thorough the information in the portal was. I wish all my doctors were this organized. Highly recommend this doctor.

I took my mon there after a hospital admissio for decreases vision and even though we were out of network, she accommodates us and spent time being thorough and knowledgeable and very patient with my mother and my mom liked her a lot- she was worth te out offnetworkfees.i recommend her 100%

I'm glad I didn't make it to the appointment. They cancel my son appointment with not explanation or options of change the appointment for another time. Never had an issue before for a letter in the insurance, and the lady that called said it can be fraudulent 🤦🏽‍♀️ really?

DO I HAVE A STORY FOR YOU ABOUT THIS DOCTOR! I had an appointment for my son at 9:30am at the Pembroke Pines location. There is a rather large amount of paperwork that needs to be filled out before arriving or you must arrive earlier to give yourself time to fill out the paperwork. I have three kids (5,4 and 7 months) which have extracurricular activities as well being a small business owner, so I don’t exactly have time to sit down and fill out these forms, so I made sure to arrive early to not delay the appointment process. I parked at 9:09am so I was probably in her waiting room at 9:12-9:13 am. The front desk window is open, but nobody is there, I see a purse, so I know someone is maybe in the bathroom or away for a second. After a few minutes pass, I said “hi, hello?” and I hear a voice back saying, “We don’t open until 9:30, you’re early!” I reply with “I arrived early to fill out the new patient registration paperwork” and this is when a woman opens the door, hands me a clipboar

There was no “good morning”, no “what is the name of the patient”, no “thank you, here you go”, she was just immediately rude. I say to her “I have been waiting for someone to come out and now you tell me I have 10 minutes to fill it out or I have to leave?” I am literally the only one in her waiting room with a baby in a stroller, two kids, a diaper bag and all before my apt time. Apparently, she did not like my question and told me she did not have time for this and was going to cancel me anyway. There was more back and forth between the two of us which included her telling me sarcastically that she is sure I must have not received the paperwork in my email which I responded to her that it is hard to do with three kids which is why I arrived early, I also made sure to tell her she was rude, and I was shocked at her behavior. This is when I asked for her name and mentioned to her that I will be writing a review about my experience. Now, I never write reviews because again, I truly don’t have time, but this behavior was so terrible, and in front of my children, at a pediatric ophthalmologist office! She told me to go right ahead and that her name was Allison. This next part is also crazy, as I left, I forgot my diaper bag on a chair inside, so she opens the door to tell me I forgot my bag. As I am walking towards her to grab it, she drops it on the floor! I am shaking at this point. I get to my car and felt tears about to start but I didn’t want to show my kids that this woman got to me. I called the number on the website and told them what had just happened. The woman on the phone was amazing and super apologetic. She apologized for Allison’s behavior and rescheduled my apt. I thanked her but told her I would never step foot in that office again. Just to make sure, I asked her if there was an Allison who worked there which she confirmed and told me she was the office manager. NOW THIS IS THE CRAZIEST PART OF ALL, I went back on the website to get Allison’s last name and I was not ready for what I saw, “Allison” was in fact that actual Doctor herself! Dr. Lal was the woman in the picture on her website which my son saw and said to me “Is that the mean lady from the doctor?” Dr. Lal threw her office manager under the bus when I told her I would be writing a review on her. Allison, if you are reading this, I recommend finding a new workplace where your boss respects you instead of passing as you to not get her name dirty. Dr.Lal, a “family” doctor kicked out a mother with her three kids in tow for arriving early to her office. Dr. Lal has zero empathy, zero bedside manner, zero manners and I am thankful that this happened because I would never want her around any of my kids. Dr Lal, if you are also reading this, here is a solution to what you could have said this morning: - Good morning, is this for (child’s name)? Here is the paperwork, if you do not finish in time,

It is an unsafe office, the professional setting is absent, the attention is the worse from the doctor which is the receptionist, secretary and probably the janitor too Will ever go back there

The doctor is very, very rude. First, she was literally screaming at her employees on the phone. Then she cancelled my appointment because I said I had been waiting 25 minutes and had to take off work for an appointment at a specific time. No one else was in the waiting room and it was “lunch time”. I had all my paperwork filled out online and didn’t need to sign anything. Avoid this place at all costs. No wonder no one wants to work for her, I’m sure they have all quit for being treated terribly. Oh and the rude lady on the phone, that’s the doctor. Maybe if she was nicer she wouldn’t have to play receptionist too.
