In December of 2020, I was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. For all intense purposes, I believed it was a death sentence. Then out of nowhere, Dr Ihor Pidhoreck entered my hospital room and took over!!!! Since it was close to Christmas, there was no one available to insert the port in my body so he did it himself!!! I knew he was the right person for me from that point on. My surgery was on June 25, 2021. Two years later, I am alive, healthy and cancer free!!!! I remember hours after the surgery, Dr. Pidhorecky walked into my room and said “I have been doing this a long time and I have to tell you, I GOT IT ALL!!!!” I will never forget those words. He guided me before the surgery, while I was in the hospital (he personally checked on me everyday), and while he was on vacation after the surgery. Thank you Lord for giving me another chance at life and bringing Dr. Idor Pidhorecky into my life. HE IS THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS!!!!!

Dr:Pidhorecky is one of the best surgeons I have ever had.He is the best at what he does,has a great bed side manner,he answers any questions you might have,he is a Surgical Oncologist,the best I have ever met.If godforbid I need a Surgical Oncologist HE IS THE ONE.GREAT Guy and Doctor.

My Visit for the last (2) Years here was Excellent and Awesome. As a former nurse, you try and find a physician that is compassionate, understanding and knowledgeable but most importantly knowledgeable, (especially when dealing with Cancer) Dr Pidhorecky is all of those his office staff is delightful. They are always polite and courteous helpful in anyway they can. This is not my first surgery with Dr Pidhorecky and I highly recommend him if I could give him 10 stars I would.

I have dealt with doctors professionally as I have been in healthcare all of my professional life, as well as personal as a patient. I have met and know many surgeons. Dr. Pidhorecky is the most kind and compassionate surgeon I have ever met. The first time I met Dr. Pidhorecky during my port placement he sat down on my bed and held my hand. He visited me at the hospital in several occasions and always made sure that I understood what was going on in my care. If he was not able to communicate with me, he always made sure that he was in constant communication with his team of residents. His staff at his office are very responsive and compassionate. As a healthcare, professional leader, and now a patient I could not say enough for the care and compassion that I have been given by Dr. Pidhorecky and his team. Thank you from the bottom of my heart from myself and my family. I highly recommend this surgeon.

I really thank God that my PCP referred me to Dr. Pidhorecky because I am very pleased with his medical care. He explained with details about my condition and small surgery.with care and understanding. Thank God, I didn’t have cancer, but I was very concerned. Finally, I had outpatient surgery about 3 weeks ago. Definitely, I recommend Dr.Pidhorecky with all my heart and his friendly staff. Thank you! You treated me very well.
