My worse mistake ever doing a surgery with this guy first a nurse that's not even a surgeon took the desition to get surgery than dr shaw did the surgery and I feel worse now than before the surgery this doctor never gives you a follow up in fact this is all a joke, this jerk shouldn't be practicing this anymore,he well get his one day

Terrible . We only saw him ten minutes before the knee replacement surgery . The office doesn’t answer phone calls . No follow up on patients . We only saw assistants.

Called Dr. Shaw's office to schedule an appointment. Gave the person scheduling the appointment my insurance information. She made my appointment for tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. I just received a call from a rude employee who informed me that my Cigna insurance was not accepted. I am an existing patient of Dr. Shaw's. Very disappointing.

This doctor doesn’t care about you. He only wants to make money.

Dr. Shaw and staff are amazing!!! He treated my husband and I, worth the wait.

Shaw is absolutely the worse and the follow up there is terrible, more pain now then before undergoing a knee scope a year ago with him and 6 months after the knee scope went back complaining of sharp pains and stabbing feelings in my knee/leg he wanted to book another knee scope asap after only 6 months in from the first knee scope. I didn’t trust him again and I should have went with my gut and never went with him in the first place,.after getting other opinions from Other professional orthos in the areas who do not hold him to highest regard. And now I’m in worse situation then before and probably have to undergo knee replacement at a young age now. Absolute Worst ortho in broward and anyone affected by him should complain to medical review board about him .

El Doctor le dijo a mí hija que por tener 68 años, ya no aplicaba para una operación E Inflltraciones en mi hombro derecho. El vio mi EMARAY . Mi médico primario, El diagnóstico de él fue que tenía, desgarre en El Tendón y algúnos ligamentos. Mi hombro Está muy dañado. Pero como también soy latina Está DOCTOR JESSY. First of all Dr. Shaw showed me that he really cared to help me with my knee pain. He has a sweet personality and he is very professional. He educated me and told me the pros and cons based on myself as an individual. I went to him after seeing 5 other orthopedic doctors all wanted to do a knee replacement on initial consultation. I was 45 years old the time and felt it was too soon. So I went with a limp and pain for years. I started working with Dr. Shaw as a nurse practicer in another practice not owned by him. I saw his patients after surgery and they were doing amazing meniscus clean up and total knee replacement. When I finally consulted with him for my right knee torn ACL after playing softball and letting it go for 3 year making it worse, Dr. Shaw took a chance and did a donor ACL replacement regardless of the severe arthritis I had. It was a complete success. I went to PT and my recovery was advanced for some reason. So after he did my right knee, years later Corona hit and I was supposed to have surgery but then the hospital reopened and I rushed to have my left ACL done. And this time, he reconstructed my own ACL and cleaned up the left knee. I could barely walk before this surgery was performed. I remember when I was going into surgery, Dr. Shaw said that he will treat me as if I were himself. I was on crutches bearing weight on my knee I could barely walk on prior to surgery directly after the surgery before discharge from the hospital. I was walking without crutches that same week and off crutches 2 weeks. Again, I advanced quickly. I did my follow up at 6 weeks, I still had weakness in the knee and my right hip for waiting too long for surgery but now at my 8 week, my aggravating limp is almost gone and I am getting stronger. I met my goals in PT and was able to walk 1 mile. I have no more pain in both knees unless I intentionally did strenuous exercise but only a 2 out of 10 compared to any previous exercise 10 out if 10. I am so blessed and grateful to have found Dr. Shaw. I was swimming at 6 weeks and riding my bike 2 miles 2 weeks after surgery. Thank you again Dr. Shaw and LiSandy his excellent and knowledgeable nurse practicer. I count myself as one of the lucky ones but please do not give up. Let Dr. Shaw do his magic and what he was born to do. Trust in him and stay hopeful and positive that his decisions are made for you to have a successful surgery. Do your part and stay in PT and exercise and lose weight if needed. Honest true story. No one deserves to be in pain. So don't give up. Move forward no matter how anxious you are about surgery. It can change your quality of life as it did mine. Oh and be patient. A popular, busy doctor or surgeon is one worth waiting for. Keep your eyes on the prize and focus on the outcome. Dr. Shaw will do the rest! I read some reviews before posting mine. The staff was pleasant to me. Sylvia D.
