Margarita Almeida El-Ramey Do's Online Review Report Card

This doctor is as negative as she can be. My mom suffers from dementia and sees and talks to her dead parents. I was told by this doctor that anyone who talks to their dead parents shouldn’t be living alone. Does she not know that it is common for this to happen? My mom takes excellent care of her home and herself and although her memory gives her issues and she cannot do what she used to be able to do, I want to find another doctor who will not make her feel like a freak because of her symptoms.

A professional dealing with alzheimer patients should have compassion and patience with them . This " doctor" lacks ;both compassion patience and a sense of caring .She comes across as a fake person and eventually as quite rude one She cares more for her cellphone and the little purpose that she keeps carrying around.That woman is strange, there is something off about her. I wouldn't trust her with my loved ones... One visit with her was enough ...I moved on and found a great caring doctor.

I have suffered from debilitating migraines my entire life, and have been treated by several neurologists since 1981. I have also had a stroke. During my first appointment with Dr El-Ramey, she informed me that a medication I’d been been taking for years, to stop a headache, was dangerous for me because I’d had a stroke.I was no longer a candidate. She prescribed another medication, safe for me to take. I woke up with a migraine this morning and took the medication. It worked like a charm. No dangerous side effects.Dr El-Ramey is at the highest level of expertise in her field, and projects a deep sense of caring about her patients. In addition, the office staff responded promptly and pleasantly while getting questions answered for me and making appointments. Dr. El -Ramey is the best!!I live 250 miles from her office and drive almost 4 hours to see her. That’s how good she is !!!Dr El- Ramey is the best!!

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I stepped into the office her staff/front desk/personal were friendly and accommodation. Wait was not long. Dr. Almeida El-Ramey is authentic, knowledgeable, and professional, she took the time to listen to my concerns and ask additional question about my issues. She walked me through a treatment plan, while explaining everything in a way I could understand. Even writing down how to take the medication. I would highly recommend her!!

Dr. El-Ramey diagnosed me as having a stroke after Urgent Care sent me home not to an ER. She is a caring, well qualified and through Neurologist. I will always recommend her to others. The staff is always respectful and helpful.

I love her office. Very professional, clean, and everyone there is extremely nice. Dr El Ramey is an amazing doctor. She knows things before the results come back and she sheds light before and after so that you can have a clear idea of what's to come. She treated my fiancee when he was having severe back pain. I am happy to know her and have meet her in my lifetime. Definitely would refer all my friends and family to her. An expert in her area of medicine.

My mom had been to numerous neurologists without getting a diagnosis. Thank goodness we got an appointment with Dr. El-Ramey. From the minute we met her we were put at ease. She is incredibly knowledgeable and after some tests she was able to give us a diagnosis. Each time we have had an appointment, no matter how busy she is, she spends so much time with us. She answers all our questions, and is so kind to my mom. I am eternally grateful to have found such a wonderful doctor. Thank-you Dr. El-Ramey!

Who has alzheimer, my loved one or this" doctor"? Ihad to keep giving her the same information over and over again because she kept repeating it wrong. She seemed more interested in checking her cellphone than interacting with the patient. This woman Almeida had an insincere and condescending attitude. She was rude and showed little patient to my senior mom who happens to have alzheimer. There is something that is not quite right with that woman. I decided to take my mom to a professional who actually cares for his patients. Im glad I did. We found a great doctor who reallly treats my mother with respect and dignity. Would I recommend Margarita Almeida to anyone one? Absolutely NO.

I waited three months to see the doctor only to find out they canceled my appointment without telling me. The person in charge of appointments said the reason was I had seen another doctor in there first choice neurology group I told her I had to see another doctor because you gave me an appointment three months From the day I called…I was in an emergency state and needed to see someone ASAP ...she didn’t care so I wrote an email to first choice neurology complaining if this is true its a ridiculous practice because the doctor that I had to see ASAP did not take care of me properly And I was no longer his patient having seen them only twice....

I have been seen by multiple neurologists in the past, but none have compared to the care that Dr. El-Ramey has provided. During my initial visit, she was very thorough when examining me. As I was giving her my history, she was attentive and patient. The doctor has checked for things that other doctors have not, including with imaging and blood work that she has ordered. Her medical staff have also been incredibly helpful, especially when I was having issues with my insurance. I am very satisfied with this office and the care that they have provided!
