I came in with a back pain. The doctor was there without much wait. I did some Xrays and the diagnostics and his way of treating me was amazing.

I am quite disappointed with my visit. It is crazy when u go to a visit with a specialist that can't remember why u r there didnt take anytime to go over my records before coming into the room. Oh and let's not leave out that i went with my boyfriend since I can't drive... he didn't speak to me at all. Almost as if I was invisible.

The visit was the same as two years ago, he had nothing to offer except to send me to someone else. Didn't even say hello. Just asked me why I waited 20 years to come to see him.

I had an appointment yesterday with Dr Werkowitz and it was the worst experience I ever had in a doctors office. first when I came a person in the front desk told me I need an authorization from my insurance even if a Primary Doctor office already fax a referral. Then she told me I have to reschedule or move on because she had another patient waiting behind me. I saw how she change her attitude with others patients but I didn’t know why she seem so mind with me. I told her I’m going to call the insurance and the Primary because they told me the same thing “I do not need authorization”. When I was on the phone with insurance representative I went back to the window to tell her what I was told. She ask for my phone to speak with the person and she continues with her attitude with a person in the phone. She disappears and she came back gave me my phone and told me she is going to working on it I was waiting for another hour or so and suddenly someone call me to get in. But she not only forgot to scan my CDs or gave any info before that. I was expected to see finally a doctor Werkowitz but instead it was a nurse Practicioner that told me Dr Werkowitz is not there and it’s not going to be there for 2-3 weeks more but she would take care my back pain. Furthermore, she asked me about my past medical history in very unprofessional way. It was a nightmare deal with her. I’m a nurse myself and I know more than her. At the end, after three hours I left with the worst back pain than when I arrived I complained at the front desk why nobody told a Doctor is not going to be there. If they inform me since I was made an appointment. I would saving time and headache. This too sad that Dr Werkowitz is an excellent doctor but he is surrounded by very unprofessional people.
