There is not much one can say about going to a proctologist . Your reason for going is not the most glamorous. You call the office and the staff is helpful and courteous in making an appointment. You go see the Doctor Mark Gordon who is caring and accommodating for an initial check up of what your concerns are and he gives you the answers and treatments that are available. You then set up a date with the office people who again are friendly and caring for your next appointment to get your problem taken care of . You go in on day you have an appointment and there is little or no wait at all . They bring you to a room to see the Doctor and the procedure takes a few minutes. After completing this the Doctor tells you what needs to be done or and not be done and follow up if there are any problems. He always says call if you need him which has never been the case . Dr. Gordon is kind, knowledgeable and I felt comfortable and safe during my procedure. I found the office was direct about fees up front and I paid out of pocket for services. I am still in the recovery phase, but have been improving gradually as he said I would. I have a third follow up appt. at no charge. The front desk staff called my emergency contact about a future appt. instead of me and I didn't sign an ROI for this. I understand these things happen. Other than that, I have had an excellent experience thus far, and plan to continue seeing Dr. Gordon in the future for services as he is reputable and has extensive experience.

SCAM doctor. They refuse to tell you how much the procedure will be and they refuse to get a precertification/preauth. from your insurance to be able to give you your portion. They say "it could be any of the codes and we don't know which code it could be nor how much the codes cost individually". SCAM - no legitimate doctor's office will push you to do a procedure without telling you the cost or even give you a range of how much it could cost you. *Also, I agree with everyone above, their reception is terrible... probably because they are all in on the scam.

Save yourself a bad moment. This place fails miserably, from the receptionist phone etiquette to the doctor’s examination procedures. Inappropriate comments. Would not go back for suggested treatment. Listen to the reviews. I gave one start because I had to

I am very happy ! I had been suffering hemorrhoids Grade 4 for 11 years, so fortunately i found this place , now I feel very well, the doctor is excellent, he recommended the treatment to ligation the internal hemorrhoids first, and later I came back to remove the skin tags, he did an excellent job! The staff is very nice and prices are reasonable, i recommend this place, 😃

Was going to make an appointment here, and I hade the same experience with the receptionist that everyone is describing in their reviews, comes across very rude. and after going over the different reviews here I see that they always have a response as to why they are right and the patient was wrong (bad sign), no wonder they only take cash/insurance, and no credit cards, they know people leave unhappy.

Terrible he is not so good at letting you know anything. Plus he has the nerve to charge you more than what he should. Says he takes insurance, then he goes to charge you what the insurance doesn’t cover. Gross🤮

Doctor is great. Office staff is horrible, rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. The one star is for the office woman. I wouldn't even call her a lady. Would not recommend. If the doctor practices elsewhere I would recommend the Doctor.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID....This was the worst doctor's office experience that I have ever had. One star because I will give the doctor credit for helping fix one issue that I came in for, however the overall experience was very poor. To begin with, the doctor prescribed an expensive, custom blended, not covered by insurance cream. Months later I bought a tube of Preparation H Advanced and it had the same ingredients as the expensive cream. The office staff can be extremely rude and in particular when it comes to questions about costs. I knew that my insurance company might not cover all of the treatment and before continuing I wanted to get some idea of what I would be facing before ending up with a huge bill and they could not give me a straight answer. I asked how much it would be without insurance, they wouldn't say. I have United, they should have been able to give me some sort of range, but they wouldn't. They basically said, we have "no idea" what it could be and you'll "just have to get it done and then we will see once you get the bill". I ended up going through with the treatment and fortunately the cost wasn't exorbitant, however, a few months later one of the problems came back. This time, I went to a different doctor and I had to have three hemorrhoids banded all over again. Finally, you can only pay your bill by going in or mailing a paper with your credit card number or a check. There is no online option and you can't pay by phone. Rude, ineffective, costly, and inconvenient....AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.
