He was ready to walkout before he even got into the room. And I had to repeat all over again what I have filled and explained to the nurse. He was not ready to help me. And He would not recommend a hand doctor.

I saw Dr. Kaufmann in NY in 2019 for a body check. Melanoma is in my family and Dr. Kaufmann knew that. He rushed through the appointment and missed noticing a bump on my nose. I just saw a new dermatologist who did notice the same bump and performed a biopsy suspecting it could be basal cell carcinoma. The pathology confirmed it is. I looked at photos of myself taken early in 2019 and the same bump was there and was visible. Dr. Kaufmann did not do his job correctly and now I will need more extensive Mohs surgery due to his poor examination. I do not recommend seeing him for a body check.

Dr. Kaufmann has a wonderful "bedside manner" where he answers questions thoroughly, explains the procedures and genuinely cares about his patients. The office is super efficient with no waiting time and appointments are easy to book. I highly recommend this doctor.
