Maury A. Jayson's Online Review Report Card

Overall terrible experience. My initial consult Dr. Jayson was 1 hour and 45 minutes latebehind schedule and while I was sitting in a room by myself the entire time he walks in and apologizes for being late but that he needed to make it quick to make up for lost time. That was the first strike. The 2nd strike was when I elected to still move forward with a procedure my wife and I had questions the day of. Once again almost 2 HOURS behind for the scheduled time of the procedure when we elected to postpone due to answers to questions that we had. I paid the copay for the insurance and was told they could either refund me or hold on to the money which I elected to have them hold on to the money to be applied for the procedure when I came back. When I came back I was somewhat surprised to be told that I owed another $200+ and that I was billed for an office visit even though I was told that I wouldnt be. Okay whatever. At this point I just wanted to get this over with. Another 2 hours tardy on the doctorstaff sitting in a room by myself waiting for the doctor again. So nearly 630 pm the procedure finally takes place with him and like 3 assistants of which he is demeaning and talking down to because they didnt call in my prescritpion for pain medication earlier in the day. I didnt even know I was supposed to have a prescription for pain medication or to bring it with me. Naturally no one relayed that info called me etc. Anywho finally the procedure is done and today 5 months later really the whole reason Im writing this is that a medical collection company calls me stating that I owe them $60 and another $50 for an appointment that I no showed for that they cant prove that I made cant provde I confirmed etc. The staff Marc convinced that Im erroenous and not them becauase clearly they are immune from making any mistakes at all was frustrating and terse to deal with. Zero sense of understanding. Zero sense of flexibility. I wouldnt refer this practice to my worst enemy and it seems as though Im not the only one based off the 3 star rating as of today. Many other doctors in the area that seem to actually value your time as much as they value their own and maybe even understand the concept of customer service and making people happy rather than just motoring along at their own pace and extracting as much money as possible from the patients and from the insurance company.

Very nice and efficient nurses and staff .Dr. Jayson is great easy to talk to. The whole office is clean and comfortable

The office accomodated my hour early arrival. I was seen with open arms and felt like I matter

My daughters appt with Dr. Jayson went very well. It was like a conversation including many topics not only urology. We discussed a lot about Covid 19 . He gave us good advise and recommendations for these moments the whole world is living through. He was a good physician and also a good human being.

Dr Jayson may be a good Urologistbut the people who are working at front desk are rude.Specially the man.When i callhe put me on hold hours.I hang up and call backhe did the same thing.Like he has a personal problem with me

Staff is always professional and polite

When I was referred to this doctor by my OB GYN I was newly pregnant with my 1st child and in horrific pain from what I believed was an infection. At first he was patient. Explained the reason I was experiencing food sensitivities from all the pain and assured me he had a procedure we could do that would stretch my uretha open and correct my pain. He said it was a risky procedure to do during pregnancy but he reassured me so much that this was the issue I signed a waiver and went ahead andnd scheduled the procedure in office with him. We used a camera to enter my bladder everything looked great and I left in the same pain I entered with. A week or two passed and the pain didnt subside. So I did what any normal person would do and went back. Upon being sat in the doctors office I heard a nurse go grab him and tell him I was waiting to see him. All I remember hearing him say is What is she doing here again? I ended up seeing another urologist Dr. Yvonne Koch and she was actually human compassionate she knew right away that it seemed like a stealth infection. Prescribed a Z pack and I never had pain again. Women run the other way

Ive been patient of Dr. Jayson for several number of years. He and his team are very professional. I have been in hormone replacement treatment with him and I am very pleased with the results. Thank you
