List of Megan Janson's Reviews
I have been a patient of Dr. Jansen for several years now. She is a very lovely & kind person who takes her time in discussing your health & any questions you may have for her. However, her office staff is one of the most rude & laughably incompetent staffs I’ve ever interacted with. They have been rude to me almost every time I make an appointment. Their incompetence I just have to laugh: One time the staff lady actually told me (with an attitude) that I had an appointment with my doctor last month. I clearly did not have any such appointment in said month. 😂 After reading all of these reviews, I see that my experience is Very Common with these people. If you plan to see Dr. Jansen as your doctor, Please be AWARE of this horrible office staff.
Need to train who ever is answering the phone, laughing and carring on with the next worker and have the nerve to be rude at the same time. I will NEVER go back there after 10 years or bring my mom there. Nasty worker.
Wish Dr Janson was still working at Lakeside Medical, so was Great
Most incompetent office staff. I had contacted the office several times throughout the last 3 months since they were only seeing patients virtually. Once the status changed in Zocdoc I called the office again to confirm that Indeed the doctor was seeing patients in the office. I scheduled an appt for July 27th but then rescheduled on July 25th for an appt on July 28th. When I got to the office I was greeted from across the room asking “which doctor are you seeing”? No “hello”, no “welcome” no nothing. Then proceeded to tell me the doctor wasn’t seeing any NEW patients in the office. Absolute lack of respect or consideration for the person driving all the way to the office wasting their day. I would NOT recommend this doctor. Read the reviews, a lot of good comments about the doctor but plenty of horrible experiences with the office staff. If I could give it 0 stars I would. This is the first time I’ve had anything like this happen. No apology or anything. It was more of “a matter of fact”.
So I normally do not write reviews, but I feel the need to inform the public about my experience at this facility. First and foremost, my first initial meeting with Dr.Janson, she was very pleasant and very friendly. I really liked her and was pleased. I wanted a really good PCP that understands my needs. At the time, I was going through lots of medical issues and needed someone who would listen and is knowledgeable, and I got great vibes with her. Moving forward, after meeting with Dr. Janson that one time, that will be the only time I would ever see her. She is never available to see her patients. They always have you see the nurse practitioner. Also, the customer service I would give a 0. They rush you off the phone and tend to be very rude. Lets not even talk about waiting time, you could wait up to 2 hours for anyone to see or talk to you. On multiple occasions, they had zero ideas of why you were in the office and had no knowledge of blood work or lab results. IF you're calling for them to send over lab results, they treat you like they are doing "YOU" a favor and feel like you are bothering them. I've never dealt with such an unprofessional medical office. I am deeply surprise people still go here. It is very sad when the doctors are good and the office staff represents them. Moving forward, I am in the process of finding a new PCP once again. It is very sad that patients feel like this. I hope to find a better experience elsewhere.
The first time I called I got right through. The receptionist was very pleasant and scheduled my appointment very quickly. I called the same day to see if I could get in earlier and by luck they accommodated me. The medical assistant Shay was super sweet. The ARNP is soooo nice! I loved talking with her and she made me very comfortable in expressing my concerns. I got blood work and they say me the very following Monday. Dr. Janson is like a dream. She is really nice, patient and informative. I did my Pap at the office as well and she explained everything to me nicely. The labs were sent directly to the pharmacy and she explained them all to me. I did have to call back and unfortunately had to leave a message however they did respond to me rather quickly and even emailed me an order. I really like this office. It is very clean and everyone is nice. It does get busy but I chuck it to the fact that they are very nice and take their time with their patients. Come here with confidence.
The worst office staff in the world, they don't care about anyone's health, especially with everything that is happening
Dr. Janson is intelligent, caring, and an excellent listener. You never feel rushed when in a consultation, be in person or via telemedicine.
Great Primary my husband and I use her as our Primary Doctor so happy ❤️😘🙏
I am very pleased with Dr. Janson for my young men. The ages are 25 and 18. It didn't matter to them to have a female doctor, they just wanted someone who they could talk to and feel comfortable. I was glad that she received them as new patients. As a mother, I wanted a doctor for them to grow with as they mature in life. Being that she is youthful and very professional - I felt I hit the "JACKPOT."

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
