Memorial Healthcare System's Online Review Report Card

I write this on behalf of my aunt Milagros Aramburu. She came to the US to visit in April, her original stay was for two weeks; she caught Covid and was hospitalized two days after arriving. After surviving the worst kind of covid there is, she was taken after 3 months in the hospital to Memorial Manor. As she describes it, she found many angels along her almost 4 month stay that made her days much better. They helped her recuperate her strength, kept her company, and assisted her with everything she needed. They even made her feel special on her birthday!She was finally released this past weekend, and she couldnt be more thankful for the people that work there and saved her life.Thank you to all the staff that did their work with compassion and empathy to the people that are there.Thank you Memorial Manor!

My mom was at Memorial Manor for 18 days. Everything is outstanding at this rehabilitation center. We are so grateful for the care she received. No money can pay what the nurses and staff do at the hospitals and rehabilitation centers. This is truly vocational. Many thanks to all!

The anxiety one feels when a loved one – especially one’s 81-year-old mother – is hospitalized is unequaled. Except when that loved one is moved from a hospital setting to a rehab facility when the worry is increased tenfold. Our mother was recently admitted to the Memorial Manor Skilled Nursing Facility as a result of a horrible fall and subsequent fracture.However, our concerns and worries were instantly calmed when our mom shared with us the wonderful experiences she had with the entire Memorial Manor staff. The entire team was highly competent, knowledgeable, positive, friendly, and professional. From Nadine, Janette, Angella, Tiffany and Lesline to the Physical and Occupational Therapy professionals who helped make our mom as comfortable and positive as possible, every aspect of her stay at Memorial Manor exceeded expectations. We are forever grateful for all of the motivation and support that the Memorial team provided – so much so that we would recommend them over and over again.Thank you to the entire Memorial Manor team for providing peace of mind to both our mom and to our entire family!

I came here from the hospital scared and I was treated so well and everything has been just unbelievable. I'm happy to go home but yet I'm sorry that I have to go home. The physical therapy has been out of this world. The food was exceptional. The staff is overall superb! I just cant express how wonderful it is to stay at Memorial Manor!

The physical and occupational therapy departments are truly Outstanding. the staff in these two departments are caring and encouraging. The nursing staff and nurse assistants are very focused on their patients care. The food is very good and accommodating to individual needs. The rooms are maintained very well as well as the property overall.I highly recommend this facility for skilled nursing and rehabilitation therapy!

Memorial Manor has provided me great care for the past 3 months I have stayed. The treatment I have received has been great by all departments. Everyone is very attentive. Therapy and wound care has been very good. My meds are provided in a timely manner. Overall everyone is outstanding!

No complaints of this facility. I have been treated like family and well taken care of. Between physical therapy, nurses and the whole faculty has treated me with respect and dignity. I was amazed at the shower room, that I thought I was at the Ritz Carlton. Mervyn the chef makes outstanding food! If I need any help they attend me promptly. I would like to thank the whole facility and I give everyone 10 stars!

I was a patient for over a month at Memorial Manor for short term rehab. My experience at Memorial Manor has been tremendously positive from the doctors, nurses, therapists, CNAs and more. I was able to concentrate on my therapy. Now am Looking forward to my next step in my recovery. Overall my experience was extremely positive and I highly recommend Memorial Manor!

I researched the location and read the reviews when I was told my mother inlaw was being placed in this location. I was a bit worried due to the reviews. I never mentioned anything about the reviews to my mother inlaw. My mother inlaw is a pretty strong 85 year old lady. She said the same thing as the reviews the nurses are very lazy and rude. She complaint about the bathroom cleanliess. She had to assist her room mate several times. She had to wipe her self down everyday. No sponge bath nothing! The nurses would stand there speaking their foreign language. I believe a serious evaluation needs to be done in this place. The level of care is poor and a formal complaint to the state needs to take place.

My mother was placed her for two weeks. They are uncaring, disrespectful and inattentive. My mom waited hours to use the restroom and when they finally put her in there the left her there for over an hour at a time. They would stand outside the door and laugh and talk while patients were asking for help. Covid is something they have taken advantage of because family can’t visit. They are very dismissive and mean when you ask for anything. Carol is the only caretaker that was always nice and caring to my mother. All of the rest of the daily caretakers were aggravated, annoyed, mean and dismissive. Just disgusting when your loved one is in there helpless and afraid to say anything because they’ll get treated worse. If this is the best skilled nursing facility in the area we are all in trouble. I believe with them knowing family can’t be there they just treat patients with disrespect and take there dignity away. Just an awful place. I do believe physical therapy, respiratory and wound care did try to help but the daily caretakers are the worst. They make up a majority of the time a patient spends in there and they are awful.
