Dr Haro and his office are The absolute worst Plan to wait at least an hour and a half if you make an appointment. Dr Haro does not even apologize for making you wait so long. And the people at the front desk are completely unresponsive I was supposed to have a prescription emailed to me and Ive made 30 phone calls to the office because I still have not gotten anything from them. And they never return phone calls.

Worst patient care I’ve ever experienced. I had to wait close to 2 hours to be seen. The nurses and staff are very rude and don’t take the time to even introduce themselves. I was greeted with a “take your shirt off” and a bunch of stickers being thrown on me without any explanation of what was happening. I asked how much longer the wait would be and they said “shortly”. I was then put in another room to wait even longer. Terrible experience I wanted to walk out so bad but I was already charged. They are extremely inconsiderate of your time. I asked multiple times how much longer and they acted annoyed and shooed me away. Saw doctor for a total of 3 min.

I’m only giving this office a one because the testing I needed was performed and I did eventually get my results. I found Dr Hasan’s approach to be rude and he was short with explanations. The office staff were extremely unorganized and the communication from them was terrible. The lack of communication caused me to drive 4 hours for an appointment which had been canceled. Additionally, I was scheduled for a stat procedure but, according to the staff, stat includes dates over a period of days. Was not contacted regarding the results and only obtained them after reaching out to them and then sitting in the office for over two hours waiting to collect the documents by hand. Because of their delays, a scheduled surgery had to be postposted twice. I have been a nurse for over 25 years and I would not recommend this office to anyone.

Dr is great, his staff are the worst.

I’ve seen Sharon the ARNP at the Davie location; she was very professional, patient & courteous. Overall the staff is very nice.

Walking into the Davie Boulevard office for a regular appointment last week, I was told at the front desk that in 10 days, Vanguard would no longer accept my Aetna insurance for any of my physicians at their facility.  Vanguard decided to cull Aetna patients from their medical practice, and in the middle of the year!  Dr. Harro, an excellent doctor, had established me with several specialists. Now, eight months later, the administration tells me to find all new doctors. Shame on the Vanguard administration for failing to return calls or caring about me as a patient and a person.  Vanguard had been playing games with me.  Several months ago, I received a letter from Aetna saying that Vanguard had dropped out of Aetna.  At that time Vanguard denied they had discontinued and kept me as their patient.  Now, I have until September 1st to locate a new  GP cardiologist, et al.  Vanguard's administration is making an excellent group of doctors and staff look uncaring and confused. I could tell that the doctors and staff did not feel that I was being treated fairly.Paul Erlandson, Ph.D.

I've been going to Vanguard medical for 4 years now and everyone in the office is always extremely pleasant and nice. They are always able to get me in right away and I'm extremely happy with all the staff every time I have to go. Thank you Dr. Hassan and Dr. Haro for always making my experience pleasant and prompt.
