My son is an established patient of Dr. Alexis. He recommended him to me. I was told when scheduling the appointment that I would be able to attend the appointment with my son, since I am a geriatric handicapped patient. We went to the office today, needed to fill out forms, since they are incapable of emailing their forms to a patient. I was then told by Dr. Alexis’ unfriendly “medical assistant,” that my son could not enter the examine room with me. He explained that I have a memory issue and that I needed him with me. She then returned and said Dr. Alexis said: “He would see me if he had to.” What a horrible way to treat a handicapped senior citizen, let alone an established patient that accompanied me. Nothing makes a doctor’s visit more discouraging than an unempathetic physician and medical assistant.

I made an appointment with this Dr’s office about a week an a half ago. I chose Dr. Alexis because of his great reviews. However, because my cardiac procedure was done by another doctor, I received a call from Dr Alexis’ office, five hours before my appointment, to let me know the doctor wouldn’t see me. The reason he wouldn’t see me is because the other doctor was part of Dr. Alexis’ “group” and I “needed” to follow-up with that doctor.I’m slightly confused and upset that he would wait until the day of the appointment to convey this message. I’m also not sure why a doctor would insist that I see a doctor I have no desire to see. Confounding.

Dr. Alexis helped bring my dad back to life by the grace of God. He is well knowledge of the heart. He has excellent bedside manner. He listens to his patients and their family's concern. His assistant Andrea was amazing. My family and I are truly greatful to Dr. Alexis and his team for providing marvelous care.

On 1-9-2018 Dr Alexis saved my life. I went to th ER feeling weak, nauseous , and had chest pain. They did an ekg , rushed me to see Dr Katz the Er physician in the back, next thing I was a code Stemi ( heart attack)on my way to cardiac cath with Dr Alexis. He placed a stent in my heart and saved me. I was a 49 years old female. I am forever grateful to him . His staff that sees me in the office is so nice. He is a respectful / intelligent practioner. God bless them.

Dr Alexis saved my fathers life after an emergent cardiac cath after suffering a heart attack. He was very professional & explained to us the procedure outcome, future recommendations,etc. He also answered all the questions we had. Very professional, caring individual.
