Adam Holdt's Online Review Report Card

I have been going to Dr. Holdt since he came to the Medical Center Clinic. He is kind and caring. When I expressed my concern about the results of a surgery done by a doctor at another hospital, he immediately took on the problem even though I was there for another reason. He has followed up with it and given me great care.

I had a 10 minutes visit for a problem the Doctor rated as simple/minimum complexity when asked. THEY ARE CHARGING ME FOR A VISIT OF 45+ MINUTES (HIGH COMPLEXITY). If you want to pay $300 for an office visit of 10 min with a simple problem, go ahead!!!! So disrespectful, just want your money!!!

They can’t seem to get a prescription to the pharmacy! It’s been almost 24 hrs still have not got prescription to C V S Foley Al.

Staff on the phone seemed very annoyed to be doing their job. They were not the least bit friendly. I am a long term patient, but could not get an appointment for 2 months. Apparently he is doing well enough that he does not need my money, nor does he need a polite staff if he stays booked up that far in advance. -Which finds me here, looking at reviews for a new ENT.

I found Dr. Holdt to be intuitive and knowledgeable. Dr. Holdt took his time with me and answered all of my questions about chronic sinusitis.

GREAT EXPERIENCE

After researching and finding him as 'The Sinus Center of Pensacola', I looked forward to working with him in reference to mold sickness. He ran expensive tests that eliminated conditions that I had already told him I didn't have, including allergy testing. After 4 visits with no improvement in my symptoms, he simply said he didn't know anything else to do for me; acknowledged that it was an unusual case and did not offer a referral to a specialist or hope that I would ever get well. I feel he just should have said from the beginning that he didn't know anything about mold illness; wasted money and time that could have been used finding a doc that might be able to help me. The Sinus Center of Pensacola site has been removed.

Our son just had a 2 hour sinus surgery and reduction of turbinates. He has had about 10 sinus surgeries so we have experience. This was the first surgery by Dr. Holdt. We are very, very pleased with Dr. Holdt and his nurse Fawn. Fawn answered many questions before the surgery and was responsive and courteous. Dr. Holdt used the most current techniques to reduce scarring and protect the cilia - he even overlayed the CT scan to get better results. The main problem was with polyps in one sinus but Dr. Holdt suggested removing the polyps from all the sinuses and reducing a turbinate while he was in there - great idea! After the surgery, Dr. Holdt came out and sat down and patiently answered questions. We are experienced, knowledgeable patients and are very pleased, impressed and thankful to Dr. Holdt and Fawn. I can't imagine a surgeon could be better. Our son has had surprisingly little pain since the surgery. No one ask us to write this - we post it because sinus surgery is important and we hope it helps other patients.
