They refuse care to my child because if my disability. My family doesn't deserve care because they discriminate. Some are worthy and others are not all because if a piece of paper.
My daughter has been seen by multiple specialists at Nemours since we moved here in 2017 when Nemours was at Sacred Heart. From heart, lungs, allergy, ENT, orthopedics, to rheumatology every one has been great.Whether it was dealing with scheduling, nurses, to xray and ultrasound techs, or especially with the doctors, we have been very satisfied with all the services received. We definitely recommend Nemours.
Never Ever Again! My 12 year old fell at school and we went to our pediatrician right away who sent us here for X-rays on a Monday morning. Had the X-rays done and X-ray tech was wonderful. We waited 2 hours while tech tried to reach a Radiologist to read the X-ray. We finally said to have them call out pediatrician. on Tuesday my pediatrician called late in afternoon and said radiologist said he hurt his Glenoid. My pediatrician found this hard to believe as this would require Major blunt force from a major impact such as a trama impact and she could not see it so she was calling an orthopedic doctor she knows at Nemours. On Thursday we get a call that Dr Reynolds saw the X-ray and it was a shadow on the glenoid but my son had an AC Separation and that ortho would be calling us with an appt. on Friday we get a call that Dr Reynolds was booked over a month but we could see the sport doctor Laura Schaefer. Went in That following Monday as soon as we got in the back a X-ray tech said we needed to go get more X-rays I asked why since we already had a diagnosis from the current X-ray. She said she would ask the doctor. I hear Laura Schaefer tell X-ray tech she could not see an ac separation on the current X-ray I asked the tech to please have dr Schaefer come and talk to me first. Really the same place had 3 different people look at X-ray , Radiologist, orthopedic doctor, and now a sports medicine doctor and no one can come up with the same diagnosis. Dr. Schaeffer examines my son and my son ask her what an AC separation is, Dr. Schaeffer then pulls up the x-ray from the previous Monday and shows him on that x-ray where his collarbone is lifted off of his shoulder instead of lined perfectly up and told him this is what an iac separation is! She then said yes ac separation!!! Really five minutes ago you couldn’t see it on that exact x-ray and now magically you can. I will never be back I believe they just want to run up a bill. If your child is injured do yourself a favor and go to the Andrews Institute I’ve never in my 48 years had three different readings off of one x-ray and then when it’s questioned get a different answer that was previously given by orthopedics. And what radiologist can’t see a shadow on an x-ray?!! I called administration to tell them my experience and the super sweet lady said she was going to get my information over to one of the people over the doctors and they would call me back. Needless to say they still haven’t called me back 48 hours later!!!! Do Not Go Here!!!!!!!
They threatened to call dcf on us because I was in and out of the hospital and had to cancel my childs appointment so I will be canceling all future appointments with this clinic and finding another place to get my child help
Way overpriced. Same service at sacred heart was 80% cheaper and got better service. Doctors were nice and helpful but after going to sacred heart, I will not be returning for doctors services.
The doctor was very caring and the nurses were very nice everyone made us feel very comfortable a wonderful place to take your children!!
Our 2 year old son was referred to Dr. Mevorach by his local pediatrician. we were able to get in rather quickly for a specialist (Pre-COVID outbreak) and where pleased with the simplicity of getting in and how Dr. Mevorach was no BS. He explained to my wife and I what he saw was the issue, how he would fix it, and what the long term outcome would/could be. he gave it to us straight with no sugar coating or niceties. some people may perceive that as rude or blunt, but when it comes to my sons well being, i want someone who knows what they are doing, and do it well. I'm not looking for someone to sip coffee and chat with. He answered all our questions with the plain facts and was forward with all the issues that could arise during the procedure and recovery.our sons surgery was postponed due to the Covid outbreak, but was finally completed the beginning of June. Dr. Mevorach came out and spoke with us about the procedure and the issues that arose. again, he was extremely straight forward about what he saw and the complications our son may have. His candor was extremely appreciated. although the outcome wasn't as positive and we all had hoped, the straight forward approach he has, has given us the ability to not be crushed if other complications arise. it may sound strange to a lot of people, but i would much rather face my child's future with a realistic, fact/experience based approach then hold onto nothing but the positive and be absolutely devastated if it is anything else. My wife and I are extremely grateful for the Dr and his care for our son.
I am furious of this fraudulent act of our system. My daughter was diagnosed with HSP, a deficiency with the blood. Her pediatrician was concerned she may have missed something so she sent her labs over to Dr Dorian at Nemours Childrens Specialty Center to be examined. The pediatrician said in her email to Dr Dorian to contact the father if their was any concerns. The pediatrician said if his office contacted me to cancel my appointment with her and make one with him. Well, when I was approached by Dr Dorian he asked me “what can I do for you today”. “ I don’t know doc you asked to see us”, I replied. He hadn’t even read my daughters file. After a couple minutes of review he said he didn’t have any concerns, in fact he knew exactly what it was and it would go away on its own. Two days ago I received a bill in the amount of $530 my out of pocket cost. The total charges were over $900. This is an outrageous act of misleading a desperate parent who was concerned about his daughter’s health. I can only hope other patients aren’t mislead.
Took my three year old to this specialty clinic to have her elbow examined. We only had to wait for a few minutes for our name to be called. I was very surprised how quickly our number was called, only to learn this was the beginning of our problems. We sat in the examining room for almost one hour for any doctors showed up!! The only reason I did not leave after thirty minutes was due to the fact that my daughter was in a lot of pain. I was very upset when the two doctors finally showed up. The main doctor examined her elbow and determined she had a nursemaids elbow injury. No x-rays were accomplished cool great wonderful no problem. We walked out around fifteen minutes after he examined her. Then, came the bill!!! They billed my insurance for almost $1100.00 for that fifteen mins....WTH!! I called them to let them know that this was totally outlandish and for them to re-bill the insurance and us with a smaller amount. A few weeks later, same amount!! This specialty clinic was IN-NETWORK!! I will never take my kids and I sure as hell don't recommend anyone else to waste there time with this place!! Over-charged the hell out of my family. As a combat veteran, I do not appreciate this and will not waste anymore time with this establishment, as I recommend anyone else who reads this to do the same!!! Front desk employees were the best part of our experience with this place. Very friendly
Everyone from the front of the office to the back of the office is absolutely wonderful! The staff makes you feel very welcomed and go out of their way to make your child feel comfortable! Highly recommend this office!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
