Incredibly caring, knowledgeable, gives all info and stays until all questions are asked and answers given respectfully. So caring. He is beyond truly meaningful and willing to give all needed by patient. I’m so grateful for him and his ability.

I liked Dr Perez which is good because it took over 2 months to have my appointment! He ordered another MRI for me (within a week) but I'm waiting 3 weeks for that appointment. Not the doctor's fault, he said I'm now on the fast track, but evidently he doesn't know the scheduling problems.

Absolutely amazing work! Very reassuring and knowledgeable! Hands down would recommend to anyone. I was very nervous and scared of the Chiari decompression I needed. He made me feel comfortable and confident. The results have been amazing! Thank you Dr. Gus!!!!!

I can’t believe this man is still allowed to practice never the less perform surgeries. He did the decompression surgery on my daughter and didn’t even sew her dura plast up all the way than left her 7 months with a spinal fluid leak that buldged out the back of her neck full of fluid. Kept saying after draining it and it returned it will go away had her keep her head wrapped for a months. Refused to give her diamox. I finally found another neurosurgeon in Orlando and he fixed what dr Perez did and my daughter has been doing amazing with her Chiari even cheerleading and anything she wants to do. He could have killed my child and didn’t care. So run far from this dr. He is not certified in Chiari not many neurosurgeons are. Do your research!

My 10 year old son came into pediatric trauma with a brain injury and he was out of town so he was unable to place the EVD in his head. However, he monitored my sons condition and kept us updated with everything going on. He was able to answer questions and educate us on our son as he moved through his condition. It was a very difficult time and he was compassionate through it all.

Put a new cathiter in my spine for my pain pump. Ive had nothing but problems and it was placed too shallow and medication backs up and releases about ever 2 weeks making me sick for 2 days. I called to come back to talk to him but told Alisha that I wanted to come talk to him but won't let him touch me again. This was two weeks ago. So instead of Alisha calling me and setting up the appt 2 weeks ago I get a call from an unprofessional Juliett. Very sarcastic and argumentative but saying she seen the reports but then said she never seen any reports. So I'm not the only one that has had a problem from this doctor according to Medtronics. DO NOT SEE THIS SURGEON FOR A PUMP PLACEMENT. His words when I woke up from surgery was "I found the other cathiter but I tugged and pulled on it but then I had to get way in there and snip it off." NO, YOU SIMPLY TIE IT OFF AND PUT ANOTHER CATHITER IN. Oh, and Julitett, when I called from my room a couple hours after surgery and asked to see the doctor because I was in pain, don't tell me that my pump is connected and to give it some time. It takes a pain doctor to turn it back on!

Outstanding! Is the first word that comes to my mind when thinking about and experiencing the care I received from Dr Perez and his team! His level dedication and professionalism is out of this world! His positive attitude made a surgery feel like a walk in the park! Thank you Dr. Perez, I am forever grateful!
