Can't get scripts called in for 4 days...then blame me and hang up on me. Ridiculous!!!
Incomplete, rude, office staff. I do not recommend AT ALL.
The lab really closes at 10:30 on Sat! Used to be friendly, but we were somewhat rudely turned away upon arrival so they could prepare for the courier per person that walked up to the desk.
The lab is combined with MRI in a very small waiting room (7 chairs). They were not very quick or timely. I found the receptionist to be rude and the office slow to do orders. I ended up leaving after being there for almost 40 minutes due to the wait and terrible attitudes from the staff. This is the first time I have walked out on getting blood work due to feeling uncomfortable to how they would handle the needle draw.
Parking can sometimes be a challenge, so give yourself extra time to find an available parking spot.
Veterans Beware! I received a bill for $133.00 from Baptist Medical Group, Atlanta, GA. The original bill was for $123.00 for a follow-up office visit with my surgeon on 4/ 03/ 2023. Baptist Medical Group had VA authorization for my medical services until July 2, 2023. However, Baptist Medical Group did not comply with VA Community Care guidelines and submit the claim in a timely manner (180 days). VA Community Care Providers do not receive full payment for their services. Baptist Medical Group agreed to the conditions of treating veterans, but it appears that they are not willing to comply with VA guidelines. Unfortunately, veterans are sometimes scammed into paying the full amount of a bill, and in this case an additional $10.00. A grievance has been reported to the Department of Veteran's Affairs. It is Baptist Medical Groups' responsibility to comply with their agreement with the VA, not to scam veterans.
I am so thankful for Heather Williams. I have had a few medical issues, but Heather is on top of everything. She has really helped me to understand my new diagnosis. I hope she sticks around.
Lab Best lab drawl I've ever had. Mel did excellent in getting my blood with just a small pinch, and no bruising afterwards. Alana was quick, efficient, and very professional at check-in. Was expecting a huge crowd, but was in and out very quick. I'd give more stars if more were available. Thank you Baptist Airport Lab for the wonderful experience.
Had a horrible experience with Heather Williams. I give her 0 stars for lack of knowledge and wasting a lot of my time. All I did was come in and asked for a simple EKG test because I was having a little bit of discomfort on my left side and they completely canceled my appointment the morning of and told me I had to go to the ER. I had to call off work for that appt. I couldn’t afford the ER so I had to figure out another way to get another doctor to help me out. Heather told me they did not have the EKGs at the Baptist airport location, and apparently that’s not the case because the new doctor I just had gave me one of those tests right there in the same office first appt I saw him. Took 2 mins. Someone in urgent care also told me that they had that test and I made an appointment and even called to double check to make sure so I wouldn’t waste my time and then I got there and one of the doctors back there that I had was extremely rude to me, and again, told me that he did not want to get sued to go to the ER. I was so confused and did not appreciate his tone. I still don’t know why they all freaked out about a EKG test. Zero stars for Dr. Heather Williams, and zero stars for urgent care because of the wrong information, and again… wasting my time. I then just switched to my bfs doctor, Jon Storey to see if he could help. He is AMAZING. Sweet man who is very caring and listens to your needs, and gets the tests that you want done. He doesn’t just refer you to the ER like the other doctors. Not all of us can afford the Er. It’s just lazy. He helped me get a stress test scheduled with the cardiologist, and I could not be more thrilled to get that going. He also called a few days later after my appointment to check up to make sure I was doing OK. That is what makes a great doctor. I am so glad I found him and I will be sticking with him. Thank you! This is why I’m leaving 5 stars for Jon Storey.
Heather Williams is very unprofessional and she doesn't want to listen to my concerns. I recently got out of the hospital and was told to follow up with her which I did. However when I was trying to explain my hospital visit she didn't want to hear anything I was saying. I don't feel like we align well and she doesn't know how to communicate with me. She walked out on me twice when I was trying to talk to her. I will never go back to her ever again

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
