This provider works at the VA hospital caring for veterans. She was disrespectful, rude, and showed little compassion while caring for veterans suffering from PTSD. I would not recommend this provider to anyone!! She showed no remorse for her disrespectful behavior and I will be calling her boss at the VA as well as filling an official complaint with the patient advocate and the medical director. Avoid Brenda Jacobsen at all costs!

She saw my mother in the ER. She was having very several leg cramps and pain could not walk, had heart condition and previous tests showed her blood was to thick. Dr. Jacobsen looked at her (no tests) and said she could not do anything for leg cramps. Asked for other Doctor she stated none in hospital and sent my mom home. Turns out she had 2 blood clots in left leg and 1 in right leg. By the time we got someone to admit her to hospital she had thrown several other clots in her heart and abdomin and passed away 3 weeks later after 3 surgeries and 2 weeks in ICU on a vent. Dr. Jacobsen never did tests or touched her in the ER, just assumed she was 79 and should be hurting. This woman should not be practicing medicine. Has no personality or sympathy for patients, very cold.
