Dr. Kirby came into the room very rushed, spent maybe 5 minutes with me, didn’t let me speak, interrupted me repeatedly, and I felt I was inconveniencing him or bothering him just by being there. He was very dismissive of me and I left my appt feeling very defeated and dismissed. If you have the option please go to someone else.

I had to start using him after my Dr left town. He barely spends 5 minutes with me and made me feel embarrassed for even asking him questions. His medical assistant refuses to call back and it takes weeks of messages to get refills etc.

My experience has been the complete opposite of the reviews I’m seeing. I’ve been with Dr. Kirby almost 3 years, & I’m truly disappointed…my Rx’s aren’t effective, “no diagnosis”, he doesn’t seem to listen to or remember what I’ve told him, he’s inconsistent with what he tells me, & I have to request he make better efforts at what I’m seeing him for…uuuhm, No Sir!!! It’s clear my quality of life isn’t being considered. I stayed with him this long because he was supposedly amazing with my mom, but something must have changed. Initially I was super excited to meet with him, but I don’t think I can do this any more.

Yes if you need a Rheumatologist he’s your man. I’ve never had to wait even five mins to see him. Love how his staff doesn’t over book and you are in and out in 20 minutes

One of the kindest..most compassionate and through specialists I've ever had. He took alot of time with me listening to my symptoms and following with tests to find out the root of my complaints. I will reccomend him to all my family and friends..I already have!

Dr Kirby is the best Rheumatologist I have seen in Pensacola in the past 25 years. He is kind, explains everything so that you can understand and very knowledgeable. Also, the entire staff is very kind and efficient as well. Have never had to wait past my appointment time.
