I absolutely LOVE doctor Sontag. He commucates very well, doesn't leave questions unanswered, and makes sure to thoroughly explain everything to me and my husband and makes sure we understand anything going on in my pregnancy. He is Hands down my favorite OB so far out of the 4 i have seen in my pregnancy, 10 outta 10 wouldn't trust anyone else to deliver my twins❤️

Dr. Sontag has the best bedside manner & is highly knowledgeable & skilled. I send all my friends and family to him!

Wish I could give more stars! He is an incredible OB. He was very sensitive to my history of early losses and had a way of reassuring me throughout the process and made me feel heard. Overall he made a beautiful birth experience for us and I can’t imagine going to anyone different in the future!

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Sontag and his team. Dr. Sontag delivered my 4th child and performed my 3rd c-section. I wish I had known about Dr. Sontag during my past pregnancies. It is my sincere intention to warn other expecting women who desire a respected, sensitive approach to their labor and delivery to stay far away from this individual. From the moment I began my prenatal care with Dr. Sontag, I sensed a lack of empathy and sensitivity in his demeanor. However, it was during a crucial moment in my pregnancy that his true colors emerged. Dr. Sontag pressured me relentlessly to undergo an unnecessary cesarean section, even though there were no apparent medical indications for such a procedure. What was most distressing was the manner in which Dr. Sontag attempted to influence my decision. He callously brought up my past miscarriages, attempting to instill fear and anxiety within me. Instead of providing me with the support and reassurance I needed, he used my vulnerable history as a means to rush me into making a decision that was not in my best interest. Furthermore, Dr. Sontag's approach was marked by a stunning lack of thoroughness. He failed to adequately explain the risks and benefits of the recommended cesarean section, leaving me feeling uninformed and uncertain about the potential consequences. His dismissive attitude towards my questions and concerns only heightened my distress and eroded my trust in his judgment. As a result of Dr. Sontag's pressure and manipulation, I underwent an unnecessary cesarean section that ultimately affected my birthing experience in a profoundly negative way. I firmly believe that his actions were driven by personal convenience rather than a genuine concern for my well-being because he needed to go out of town and of course he won’t miss on that payout. To any pregnant women seeking a respectful, sensitive labor and delivery experience, I implore you to steer clear of Dr. Brian Sontag. His disregard for informed consent, his use of fear tactics, and his lack of thoroughness are clear indicators that he is not the compassionate and responsible healthcare provider you deserve during this special time. Instead, I encourage you to explore other healthcare professionals who prioritize patient autonomy, provide clear and thorough explanations, and genuinely support your desires and choices regarding your labor and delivery. You deserve a care provider who will empower you and ensure that your birthing experience is respected and cherished. Please remember that each individual's experience may vary, and this review reflects my personal encounter. I have been a patient of Dr.Sontag for 8 years and I could not imagine having anyone else be apart of my care team while pregnant. No matter how many children you have we always have those nerves and worries and he will always be there to answer any questions you have and to make sure you feel comfortable at each step. He is by far the best there is and I could not recommend this office enough. We are expecting our third baby and I swear he treats every mother in that office with respect. He will absolutely do any he can to make sure you have a safe and healthy pregnancy!
