I was in the hospital for 3 days w/ stroke-like symptoms. My ct (reviewed by different dr) & mri were clear. I saw him ONCE for about 1 min right before I was discharged. Instead of examining me, he said, "I don't think there's anything physically wrong with you! DESPITE what you've said, I think it's stress!" I hadn't even talked to him! I'd answered other drs & nurses honestly when they asked if I had any stress, anxiety, or depression & I said no. Those are legitimate issues that you have NO reason to be ashamed of if you're dealing with! However, I'm very easy-going & have never felt stressed out or anxious. I realize how blessed I am to honestly say that! When I responded that I'm not feeling stress or anxiety, he hatefully SNAPPED, "You're not stressed about (unrelated) surgery tomorrow!?" I told him I've had many surgeries & have never been scared; just excited to get something fixed! My mom vouched for me & he left! Disrespectful to my physical pain & others' emotional pain!

Poor bedside manner doesn't begin to describe this man. If you care about your family member keep them far far away from this person!

Although Dr. Ouellette is friendly; he misdiagnosed my father for many years. As such, dad's PT regime and the experimental treatments he received were pointless and painful. Dr. Ouellette denied knowing my dad had hundreds of falls even though I and my mother personally informed him. Gentiva Home Health (private pay) however did not report falls. Dr. Ouellette submitted my request that dad be seen at the Mayo Clinic. The diagnosis he presented to the Mayo Clinic was not the same as the one dad was treated for by him for years. The 1st time my family heard dad's correct diagnosis was from the Mayo Clinic. He died 2 weeks later. Dr. Ouellette administered IVIG ($40,000 cash payment). Even though, I sent an email with the FDA recall to Dr.Ouellette (which he acknowledged) dad received 2 doses of recalled Baxter. Dad served in 4 theaters of war with rank and purple hearts.He deserved better care.Even if dad's disease was somewhat rare; his safety and comfort should have been addressed.

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Ouellette. He has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've ever met. He even answered my e-mails, and promptly at that. I wish he could be my family practice doc!
