Dr Baker was amazing with my mothers care. She had femur surgery, he was attentive, kind and great bedside manners.

Awesome doctor. He put me at ease instantly and calmed my fears about inevitable shoulder replacement surgery. Cortisone shot worked for now and he gave it to me quickly and relatively painless. Will definitely be having my replacement surgery under his care.

It took me a few visits to Florida Ortho and a great referral from Dr. Palumbo to finally find the BEST surgeon ever!!! Dr. Baker is AMAZING! I was so scared to have this surgery on 3/29/2018, very overwhelmed with the thought of it and the recovery process.  Dr. Baker explained this procedure as thoroughly and as detailed as possible. My surgery was a major stage 3 ACL repair and nerve reattachment. The ACL should've been easy but then I had complications which caused the surgery to extend to 7hrs! I was blessed with a surgeon who gave his all to make sure I received the best care and his promise to me that I was in good hands was the truth! I can honestly say he put me at ease even though I am one of his most HIGH RISK patients, he is still very honest and very involved in my recovery. The fact that he is not just brushing me aside after surgery is one of my biggest admirations about him! His staff is WONDERFUL! They are very pleasant and always very welcoming. Thank you Dr. Baker and his part of Florida Ortho staff, especially Ashley and Amy for your consistency, and for all your continuous help in this whole entire experience!

I was so nervous to get a cortisone shot in my shoulder but Dr. Baker and staff were amazing! I honestly did not feel it! He makes it easy!

I'd like to start out by saying this feedback is based solely on my experience with Dr. Baker. I fell and broke my wrist on Friday, May 20, 2016. I went to a walk in clinic the following day and had an x-ray. The radiologist and doctor at the walk-in clinic both confirmed that my wrist was broken and said I needed to see an orthopedic to have it casted. My first visit with Dr. Baker was on Tuesday, 5/24. Dr Baker looked at the x-ray I had done at the walk-in clinic and told me he couldn't see the break and put a splint on instead and told me to take Ibuprofen and said if it was still hurting in 2 weeks to come back. I went back on Monday, June 6th and he ordered an MRI which could not be done at his location in Wesley Chapel so it was scheduled for Monday 6/13 in Temple Terrace. I then had a follow-up with Dr Baker on Wed 6/22 and he confirmed that it was indeed broken and said, "Sorry about that. I couldn't see it in the X-Ray. It happens".  By this time, it had been a month since I fell and broke it so it was too late to put in a cast. I also told him that it was still extremely painful and that the Ibuprofen wasn't helping but he told me, "just keep taking the Ibuprofen" and would not prescribe me anything for the pain. My next follow up was on July 20th. He wrote a prescription for physical therapy but still would not give me anything for the pain even though I advised him that the pain was still bad in my wrist and that my elbow and shoulder were now also hurting and the Ibuprofen wasn't helping. I went to physical therapy and was also started seeing a chiropractor for the shoulder pain. My last visit to Dr Baker was on August 31st. I told him that I was still in pain from my wrist to my shoulder. He said I shouldn't be, refused to do anything further, and said if I was still hurting, I would need to go see a pain management specialist. My physical therapy continued through September 13th and I was going to the chiropractor twice per week until October 7th. I began seeing a pain management specialist on September 8th. He immediately started me on prescriptions for inflammation, a muscle relaxer, and Neurontin for nerve pain. He also wrote a prescription for an MRI and referred me to another physical therapist for my shoulder as it was determined that I have an impingement in my shoulder which may require surgery to prevent a rotator cuff tear. It has now been over a year since I fell and I'm still in pain daily. I feel Dr. Baker totally mistreated my broken wrist, especially since the break had been confirmed by another doctor and a radiologist prior to me even seeing him. He was very uncompassionate about the pain I was in and did nothing to help relieve it after telling him repeatedly about it and that the Ibuprofen wasn't helping. I will never go back to Dr. Baker and will never refer anyone to him.
