List of Coyt A Rountree's Reviews
I never saw dr rountree, only the people who gave me the test.
Being treated for prostate cancer, getting radiation and hormone treatments. Dr. Roundtree was extremely knowledgeable and explained all of the pros and cons of the treatments as well as the reasons for this treatment regimen. He and all of his staff are extremely kind and caring people. All of my questions are answered and every visit is great. I am nearing the end of the treatment regimen. Although I won’t miss the treatments, I will miss these awesome medical professionals.
Supervised my radiation treatments for prostate cancer.
Yes - highly recommend him he is an excellent, caring Dr.
THIS IS A MUST READ!! After a prostate removal due to cancer, I had to have radiation treatment throughout my entire pelvic region in order to kill some remaining cancer cells that tests showed were present but that couldn't be specifically located by Dr Rountree and the Woodlands staff. Dr Rountree's orders for me were that I was supposed to be radiated only when my bladder was at least 1/2 full. Unfortunately, there were times that I was radiated at a marginal fluid-fill level. That apparent "drive to maintain schedule" overrode the resulting site effects with my health. Resultantly, I have suffered from SEVERE radiation cystitis in the bladder with significant bleeding and passing of blood clots... requiring a dozen or so ER visits and 2 hospital admissions. Not once during radiation treatment was there ever a pause to wait for what needed to be a more optimal fluid level with me... only that there was a schedule to keep. I mentioned that concern to Dr Rountree a number of times, but to no avail. I have been told by other doctors that my bleeding has been caused by that radiation. I sadly believe that there was more concern for money with driving the "on schedule" thing rather than my possible side effects. I substantiate that because when I checked one of my visit's EOBs, I noticed that what was an office visit was charged as a cancer treatment which was billed at thousands of dollars difference. When I questioned the Woodlands billing office, they asked why I was concerned because the insurance paid for it. I told them that my concern was anethical one about misbilling and they needed to return that large payment. I even mentioned that to Dr Rountree and Dr Wolters... both of whom did not seem that concerned about it. I told all three that if that money wasn't returned and properly rebilled that I was going to make the insurance company aware of this inequity. So, just be aware for your own care and ethical protection when using this facility. Both prostate surgery and radiation treatment have left me scared for years (and in some side effects, for life) and I would not want anyone else to go through what I have.
A MUST READ!! After a prostate removal, I had pelvic radiation treatment. Dr Rountree ordered my bladder to be at least 1/2 full. Numerous times I was radiated at a marginal fluid level. Resultantly, I have suffered SEVERE radiation cystitis with significant bleeding and clotting requiring numerous ER visits and 2 hospital admissions. That apparent "drive to maintain schedule" overrode the resulting side effects with my health. I can't recall during my weeks of radiation a pause to wait for a better fluid level... only that there was a schedule to keep. I mentioned this concern to Dr Rountree a number of times, but to no avail. I truly believe that the focus was money driven just as much as for maintaining schedule... both of which providing me a miserable quality of life. I wish the focus had been more on preventing the radiation side effects (for my benefit). So, please be aware to follow your your case with open eyes/ears, listen to what is ordered and QUESTION any uncertainty.
Dr. Bernstein saw me first at my first scheduled appointment at Woodlands, and went out of his way to see if Dr. Rountree could see me after he finished. I did have a good visit with Dr. Rountree, at which his explanations were A+, and which allowed me to outline a treatment plan. An impressive way for any medical facility to handle a patient.
He was very professional and explained various solutions to my specific situation and needs. Very knowledgeable and understood our families overall health going forward.
Dr. Roy tree and his staff are always professional, friendly and compassionate. I love them and the help they gave to get me through it all. Thank you all.
I feel very fortunate to have Dr Rountree as my doctor. He talks to patient in detailed manner explaining total procedures and results. Highly recommend!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
