I have been seeing Dr. Schuka for about three years. The level of care and compassion from him and the entire staff at West Florida is THE WORST. Had it not been for Covid I would have switched PCPs long ago. I've had to escalate to the office manager 2 times for lack of response. Shame on me for staying with a practice that doesn't care for their patients. Shame on West Florida for not being able to return calls of communicate with their patients.As I am doing some quick research that I should have done before I selected a PCP, consider finding a doctor who is able to be accepted into a US medical school. Dr. Schuka got his medical degree from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine.

I have been seeing Dr. Schuka for about three years. The level of care and compassion from him and the entire staff at West Florida is THE WORST. I have been seeing Dr. Schuka since he came to The practice from Fort Walton. He’s always been a great doctor. He really does care for his patients. My only complaint like all the other reviews would be the office staff. His current assistant in particular is very rude. You never know what someone is going through. Sometimes it takes everything out of someone just to get out of bed. Maybe they should train some of them on empathy and compassion.

Words cannot express the gratitude I have for Dr. Edward A. Schuka, West Florida Physician Group: from the office staff & nursing staff, in addition to his amazing medical expertise, knowledge & advice, especially in today’s medical environment. He coordinated the necessary medical care & creation of a dream team surgical team like the Symphony Conductor, Leonard Bernstein. His constant oversight assures seamless transitions to the next stage of care. The level of expertise exhibited by him prior & after my most complex & complicated spinal surgery involving a significant portion of my spine from C-4 thru T-5, with insertion of rods & screws is 2nd to none. As a physician, he takes the time with his patients to explain the medical issues & the medical options available from the most conservative approach to aggressive procedures that are available. I strongly recommend to everyone to establish their medical care with Dr. Edward A. Schuka. Office staff are courteous & helpful.
