Hard to say because it a smooth running office. Everybody was really nice and Dr Newman ensured I was doing good and that I had no new problems.

Dr. Newman didn't seem like himself. He was overly direct, confrontational, all but said, "I don't believe you:, I was extremely unhappy at his manor. Also I was experiencing pain, and nausea. He referred me to a surgeon. He felt my intestinal area. He witnessed me react to touch due to pain. I've been in bed sick 3 weeks since the appointment. Concerned about Dr. Newman

The doctor, Dr. Frederick Newman is the drawing card for this office. He is very knowledgeable about your patient history and he listens to your concerns. He never rushes you thru your appointment. He makes you feel welcome and valued as a patient, not a burden.

I have Crohn’s and have seen a couple of GI’s and Dr. Newman is by far my favorite. He listens very well and explains things in a way you can understand. He spends an ample amount of time with each of his patients so if you go to him just know your appointment will not be rushed through because he truly wants to help you. I’ll definitely see him for as long as he practices in Pensacola.

Might be a great doctor, I’ll never know. Had ER visit and discharge papers stated to see a GI doc in 10 to 12 days. Was scheduled 2 1/2 months out. Obviously office does not care about ER recommendations.

Dr. Newman Trying to get in touch with your office is next to impossible. NO ONE ever answers the phone, the prompt recording does not work, calls are not returned, they have a generic number for all offices. When I have been able to get in the staff is rude, 1 person answering the phone, checking in patients, showing patients to room. I have been dealing with them for a year just trying to get appts. I have requested my records numerous times, submitted a signed request form, my GP has requested records with no response. The doctor patient rapport was 0. It is like a circus; it is all a joke and you want me to join your liver study.....NOPE. It took over 9 months to get all the testing done due to lack of response from the office. I have been trying for a year to get on the Patient Portal still does not work. I plan on changing Dr but cant get my records to do so. I do not want to go through all that testing again!!! Dr. Newman you need to get a grip on your office staff or get a different office manager.

Dr Newman is the best doctor we have experienced in the FT Walton to Pensacola area. He does it all right; caring, warm, professional, takes time to really listen to you.
