List of Hca North Florida Hospitals's Reviews
I had to wait an hour in solitary confinement before the doctor showed up. I was 5 minutes from leaving. My appointment was at 130 or 2pm. It was 330pm when I left the office. Dr. Sent seems knowledgeable enough. He needs to work on time management.
Minimal waiting time courteous and professional staff a doctor that listens and orders what is necessary.
professional service
Dr. Sen was kind friendly easy to understand listened well and knowledgeable. This was my first visit and Ill be making my future cardio appointments with him.
On March 12 2018 I had a scheduled cardiology checkup with Mike Lawton ARNP. His examination was extremely thorough and he went the extra mile in explaining his findings and recommendations. Mike is extremely professional and I consider him to be a real asset to the Heart Group
Outstanding service very professional appointment time kept and glad I’m changing to this firm Again this cardiologist office is more friendly and patient focused than my previous office. It’s my pleasure to provide them with financial support because they deserve it
Taken on time into the Dr. office for follow up. She suggested that since I had a renal stent inserted years ago I return at the end of the month for a scan to make sure it was functioning correctly. Appreciate the extra care in making sure everything is working as it should
My husband drove me to the ER on Jan. 31st because I was experiencing tightness and pressure in my chest which started to radiate into my neck and left shoulder. I noticed it said in huge letters over the ER entrance Chest Pain Center so I felt confidant they could help me. They checked me in did an EKG and blood pressure then sat me in a chair in the hallway with other people by the nurses station. They did xrays and an IV for ongoing bloodwork while I was sitting there. A doctor greeted me and I told him I what I was experiencing. I met another doctor there also. They kept taking blood samples. I had arrived at the ER at 415 on my little sticker. Finally about 745 I stood up and walked around and stretched. Everyone else in the chairs were gone. A doctor asked if I was experiencing anxiety. I told him I was stiff and uncomfortable from sitting in the chair for so long. After the last bloodwork was taken the tech said it seems I may have suffered a heart attack I kinda figured that. Finally about 830 pm over 4 hours after I arrived they wheeled me to a room. One of the doctors said they had been tied up with a serious stroke victim who had arrived earlier. Did they not have enough staff to look at a chest pain victim also? And I heard about other patients names conditions etc while sitting near the nurses station HIPAA compliance?. They may want to keep their voices down a bit in case anyone in the hallway knows the people they are discussing. They did assign me a great cardiologist which I am very happy about. Good to know the hospital has some good cardiologists there. I ended up having a blocked artery needing a stent. But my view of the ER at West Florida Hospital is not good at all. Maybe I should have taken an ambulance but I have heard other people driving to the ER at other area hospitals and getting taken care of right away. Needless to say neither my cardiologist nor I was happy that I was sitting in the hallway for over 4 hours. Perhaps you need more staff in the ER?
Always VERY pleased with Dr. Branco and his staff. Everyone is exceptionally nice and friendly BUT most of all Im always treated with respect. I am always more than pleased with Dr. Branco and will always use him as my Cardiologist.......

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
