Jeffrey PAUL Wolters's Online Review Report Card

Fantastic surgeon. Could not have been more pleased with our experience. We are forever grateful for Dr. Wolters.

Dr. Wolters is not professional. I was checked in at 1245 pm for my 115 pm appointment. I was called back to the treatment area about 200 pm. The nurse's aide completed her overview about 105 pm and said the doctor would be in in a few minutes. The nurse's aide came in the treatment room about 145 pm and said the doctor was delayed in the surgery center but would be in for my review in a few minutes. A man who identified himself as a PA came in the treatment room about 155 pm and offered to go over my condition. I told him I was there to see the doctor and not him. I asked him for my PSA score and told him I was leaving. Wolters had his back to me standing against the counter when I walked by and did not acknowledge me. The following is the progress note written by an ARNP: "Upon entering the room, the patient made it known that he was very disgruntled at the wait time today. He stated this was the last time he would. Stated he just wanted know what his PSA was and then he would be leaving. I did advise him that his PSA was at 5.1. He did not give me any opportunity to explain the PSA to him and wished to leave....However, he did not wish to talk about any of this today. We will cover urologic care for the next 90 days but he will need to find a new urologist." This inappropriate wait time has happened before. I was forgotten about for over an hour and a half about two years ago. This is not right. Wolters does not have the right to tell me I have to find another urologist just because I got tired of waiting and being abused. I understand emergencies occur and when they do I should be give timely notice and the opportunity to reschedule if appropriate. I am not subject to his whims about which MD I should see. He is not divine and is not abiding by his hippocratic oath. I did not want a explanation from a PA because I made an appointment with an MD and am not interested in seeing a PA or APRN. Wolters owes me an apology in writing. I will make an appointment with another urologist at The Woodlands and if he blocks that I will take this to another level just like I did with Bernstein in 2007. ?

Dr. Wolters and his staff are professional and caring. I will recommend Dr. Wolters to my friends and family.

Excellent urologist. Have always appreciated his acumen and his humor.

I have been seeing Dr. Wolters for about 8 or 9 years. I have never had a bad experience with him or with any of his staff. They are just great people people. Love my Dr. Wolters and his staff.

Dr. Wolters is simply amazing. His knowledge, professionalism and kindness all combine to make him so special. I’ve been a patient for years and the care I’ve received has been top notch. The Woodlands Facility and Dr. Wolters Staff are both outstanding. Recently I had a cancerous tumor removed. There’s no one else I would have wanted to do this surgery but Dr. Wolters. From him explaining the diagnosis to schooling me on the process to performing the surgery and throughout recovery Dr. Wolters was there giving me outstanding care. I could write a book about Dr. Wolters, his knowledge, his personality and just his overall ability to make his patients feel like family. He’s obviously my doctor but more importantly I consider him a friend. If you need a Urologist Dr. Wolters is your guy.

Wolters, and his Radiology associate (Coyt Rountree) are worthless and incompetent. BEWARE!!!!! You'll be sorry you used them. They messed me up permanently and considered corrective procedures that could have killed me with the conditions that they caused. Wolters MADE me totally incontinent with no solution. His Radiology associate bestowed me with the worst radiation cystitis that 5 other doctors said they had ever seen, and that I was "too far gone for further treatment." Besides that, I caught them mischarging Medicare, and what they told me was... " why are you concerned, Medicare paid for it?" How ILLEGAL is that???? They recommended corrective procedures that might have killed me also. So, I got away from their with 2 open health conditions. DO NOT USE THEM or beware of the consequences.
