Visit was Ok!

I have a herniated disc, spinal stenosis and have had a frontal fusion on my back. I have had lower back pain for over six years and he told me it was muscular issues. It must matter what insurance you have to get quality care.

I just had back surgery and procedure went great and in recovery healing. My entire experience with him and the hospital couldn't have been any better than it was. Dr. Corona was very professional and took his time to explain everything to me and my family which meant a lot to them. Being told my incision looks great and well done as well even though I can't see it yet.

My appointment was made quickly for the following day. When I arrived, I was quickly brought to the exam room to where the staples were removed very painless. The assistant was very nice very helpful through the whole ordeal.

Dr. Corona is simply THE BEST! I have always been taken care very well by him and his staff. The office atmosphere is great and he has brought me back to better health. Thank you Dr. Corona!

It has been an extreme pleasure and a great experience to meet and have the opportunity to work with Dr. Corona the past six months! He and his staff provided excellent consultation and assistance on determining my physical ailment, the needs and methods of investigating it, and then the suggested procedure to provide the solution to relieve previous years of pain. The support staff at Dr. Corona's office was exceptional. They unraveled and found solutions to a couple of insurance company delays, and handled all appointments and communications in a very time efficient manner. My wife and I found Dr. Corona's personalized method of consultation discussions and suggestions very refreshing. He would stay with a conversation until all of our questions were completely answered. They were answered slowly and in complete detail. He always asked if there were any further concerns to please call him. Dr. Corona's treatment plan went very well and just as previously described. He kept my wife fully informed as my surgery day progressed. Since then, he and his office have provided excellent follow up care. We could not have been in better hands! Dr Corona took about 30 minutes to talk to my husband and I about options for my husband's back. He explained in great detail what he saw on MRIs, explained what would happen through each possible option, what the best routes to healing would be, and made sure we really understood what he was saying. He was very clear in his explanations of procedures, and why he didn't want to jump immediately to surgery. My husband had been scheduled for a discectomy back in October due to an accident that was canceled due to insurance issues, but Dr Corona explained so clearly why surgery would be a poor choice for an otherwise healthy 28 year old patient! We were never given the option of just doing physical therapy, so this was really incredible news to hear. I've never had a doctor spend so much time trying to make sure the patient understood everything being discussed. He even asked at the end "so you understand your imaging? And that we don't want to do surgery? And how important it is to go to physical therapy?" His bedside is the best I've seen, and we look forward to seeing him again at the followup appointment. I cannot recommend him enough!

Staff always courteous and listens to what I have to say . His nurse always communicates in a timely matter. I really do appreciate Dr. Corona taking care of me and always taking time to answer all my questions . Twin Cities ER encouraged my family to send me to neurology in Pensacola West HCA , as I was out of it and couldn’t speak for myself . After I received news that my cervical fracture was not healing and that I would need surgery, I sought Dr. Corona as a second opinion. He took the time to explain his findings to me and my family and talked about the treatment plan and the risks. He even found something on my CT that the other neurosurgeon overlooked. I was very nervous as this would be my first major surgery, but the way he was able to explain everything so fully, made me feel confident in having him perform the procedure. Now a month later, the procedure was a success, and I'm feeling much better!
