Leonardo Villegas's Online Review Report Card

Very Professional, Great doctor & if it wasn't for his professional skills as a doctor, I don't believe I would be here today spending time with my son. Update: A year later after Dr. Villegas did Whipple surgery & removed cancerous tumor, & with months of healing & his professional guidance, diet, medications, therapy & follow-up appointments, my cancer markers have returned to normal. The Whipple surgery is brutal,but I'm blessed that Dr. Villegas was in Pensacola to perform this life saving surgery. If Dr Villegas was not available locally, it would have been terrible to travel at least 6 hours minimum in order to find a Doctor that could do what he did. Seriously, I don't think I would have lived through a exhausting medical trip full of IV's to Orlando, Houston or Atlanta, maybe Birmingham. Plus the expenses alone would have killed me if not the trip! LoL one must Keep humor no matter what. August 2023 Update: 4 years in Remission! 🙏💕👍🇺🇲😁 What else can i say that i haven't already? Pensacola Sacred Heart Hospital has everything I needed to keep me alive & from traveling a brutal exhausting Trip to Tulane, or TX ect. Those places are great medical facilities but why should i travel if it isn't necessary! Our experience with Dr. Villegas was not good. He was very impatient, aggressive and extremley rude to my aunt who just had a stroke and suffers from a mental illness. No compassion or patience. Would not recommend.

A fine outstanding doctor and a great staff working for him.

Dr Villegas sat w my husband & I for a very thorough first visit. He explained a lot of the terminology we didn’t quite understand. He was upbeat about my diagnosis and made us both feel less anxious.

Dr. Villegas is an amazing oncologist. He is very direct, informative and willing to help . I'm so glad that I ran into you to perform my surgery. I had minium pain from my surgery. And I recovered like a champ. If you care about your health then go to Dr. Villegas!!! I appreciate him being direct and willing to answer any and all questions

Staff is very attentive and professional

Basically told me my problem was my weight even though I have had multiple surgeries for the issue that alleviated my pain while living in California. TRICARE will need to find me someone that wants me to live without pain.

My wife was sent to Dr. Villegas due to the location of her cancer. Dr. Villegas was not quick to jump into surgery and was very proactive to order other tests to make sure my wife did not have cancer anywhere else prior to surgery. While in his office he always took ample time to explain in depth to my wife and I what to expect. The day of surgery he was quick to talk with me about the procedure, and he also came to the hospital room on several occasions giving us time to ask questions. Went with my mother n law. This Dr is extremely rude and arrogant. He tells you to ask questions and then he proceeds to talk over you and tells you that your question is not a priority. 2 of my Aunts met with him at the hospital to find out info and he was even more rude to them than he was to me. If there was a lesser rating, he would definitely get it. He is really horrible.

He explained everything clearly to my wife and I. His follow up was the best of experiences for my overall health. He was a Godsend at a difficult, confusing time.
